Bang for the dollar
I was very happy with my purchase. They gave me five mouth guards. I have owned others in the past. The video they have could be a little better because they don't really tell you how much time to put the mouthpiece into the hot water. I would suggest 15 to 20 seconds. You can put a little cold water on it before you put it into your mouth to mold it. I will admit this is probably the best sleep I've had and it's only been day one. I didn't have any discomfort and my own dentist wanted to charge me over $300 for one mouthpiece.

Super Aggressive, has a time limit, works and very similar to
I've been doing invisible aligners for the last 9 months so I've been through every possible cleaning routine... peroxide, water and toothbrush, clear mouthwash, denture tablets and products specifically made for clear aligners. This is the final one in the group that I've tested, and this one is the most aggressive. When I say most aggressive, I say that because there is a recommended time limit of the soak, of just a few minutes, and when you pour the powder into the water or empty glass to add water the chlorine smell can almost catch your breath, almost like pouring shock powder into a swimming pool or opening a tightly closed bin of chlorine pool tablets. That being said, it does clean, and very similar to Retainer Brite, it starts as a blue and fades to clear once the work is all done. This product works, but I clean my retainers several times a day, each time that I have them out to eat or drink. That being the case, I don't really like the 5 minute limit this product puts on how long you should leave the retainers in the bath, and often when I am eating or drinking it's more than 5 minutes. If I'm traveling for work and have had to take my aligners out and not properly wash them before putting them back in throughout the day and have minimal time for maintenance, this would be a great product for the "once a day aggressive clean". If I'm cleaning more than once a day I would probably prefer not to get the chlorine whiff and would prefer to stay with my "several times a day" option,Polident 3-Minute Anti-Bacterial Denture Cleanser Tablets, Triple Mint Fresh, 84 Count which at least in my experience and estimation isn't as harsh as this product. That being said, a natural comparison would be between this product and https://www.amazon.com/Efferdent-Power-Clean-Crystals-Count/dp/B006ZHP7XM/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497207206&sr=8-1&keywords=efferdent%2Bcrystals&th=1. I have used several boxes of those crystals and I'd say they're a fraction of the strength of this product, but again if you're cleaning more than once a day, that may be fine. Before this product, I would say that the Efferdent crystals and https://www.amazon.com/Retainer-Brite-Tablets-Months-Supply/dp/B005GRGARE/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1497207336&sr=1-1&keywords=retainer%2Bbrite&th=1 were a tie for first place. What I like about this product, Retainer Brite and the Polident 3 minute is that they leave a slick feeling on the retainer / aligner after cleaning and I think this also help is resist things sticking to it over time. With the clear braces, after a certain amount of cleaning they start to feel "dried out" like a headlight plastic of a car, and sometimes eventually crack. So if I'm cleaning a lot, I'd use something like Polident 3 minute, if I'm cleaning less, I may mix in the Efferdent Crystals once, and if I'm only able to clean once a day I would use this or the Retainer Brite. Probably far more information than you wanted, but that's my 9 months worth of tablet experience. I didn't even mention the mouthwashes and peroxide! I'll sum it up this way: I stayed with the tablet and crystal options once I discovered them.

almost great
I recently tried Fresh Guard and overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the product. It's a soak that's designed to remove odors and bacteria from dentures, retainers, and other oral appliances, and I found that it did a good job of freshening up my mouthguard. One of the things I liked most about Fresh Guard is that it's very easy to use – you just add a packet to a cup of warm water and soak your appliance for 15 minutes. I also appreciated the fact that it's alcohol-free and non-toxic, which made me feel better about using it on something that I put in my mouth. However, there were a couple of things that I wasn't completely satisfied with. First, I found that the Fresh Guard soak didn't do as good a job of removing stains as some other products I've tried. I also found that the freshness didn't last as long as I would have liked – my mouthguard started to smell a bit funky after a day or two of use. Overall, Fresh Guard is a decent product that does a good job of freshening up dentures and other oral appliances. While it may not be the most effective stain remover or have the longest-lasting freshness, it's easy to use and non-toxic, which makes it a solid choice for many people.

This product cleans very well, but watching the clock for 5-10 minutes can get annoying.
I started wearing a mouth guard at night a couple years ago. Without proper cleaning these things can get pretty gross. My mom recommended this brand so I started out with it. I have since also started using100 Tablet CleanGuard Nightguard Cleaner as well. -Cleaning: I love how well this cleans my mouth guard! When I first got my mouth guard my dental office didn't give me much info on how to keep it clean. It started getting buildup and was disgusting. I bought this and started brushing my mouth guard more vigorously and all of the ickiness went away. When I first pour this in it makes a cool bubbling and fizzing display. It turns the water blue initially, but after the 10 minutes the water yellows a bit. My mouth guard comes out squeaky clean! -Time: This is why I don't exclusively use this mouth guard. When I wake up I want to clean my mouth guard and then get on with my day. The package specifically says "Do not soak for more than ten minutes". It's hard to remember to take it out after 10 minutes. That's mid shower for me. What happens if I leave it in for more than 10 minutes? Does it eat away at the material? With the Cleanguard product I can let my mouth guard soak all day. I don't think it cleans quite as well, but I would say it cleans about 75% as good as Fresh Guard. It is much more convenient though. I can pop it in the water right after I brush the mouth guard, then at bedtime I pull it out, give it a rinse and it's ready to go. -Price: The Cleanguard is $8.99 for 100, so about 9 cents a day. Fresh guard is listed right now for $6.24 for 24 days worth, which is 26 cents a day. There is a bit of price difference. Bottom line - I think Fresh guard works the best, but you need to watch it so it doesn't go over the 5-10 minute recommendation and it costs a little more per use. I alternate them and it is working great. My 2 year old mouth guard looks brand new.

NOT BAD BUT NOT THE BEST.
I purchased this for 1852. It is a 24 day supply. If I compare Fresh Guard to Retainer Brite, then the latter is better. Directions for use - take a glass of water, place powder in it, stir it using a spoon and immediately place retainer in the water. Wait 5 minutes. (I usually wait 10-12 minutes) Then you need to rinse in clear water and once rinsing is done, you can wear the aligners. Does a good job of cleaning. I am using this with my invisalign(s) In terms of both value and performance, i prefer the retainer brite. However, this arrives faster. I am further reducing my rating - 1. you have to stir it for sure. 2. the water blue evaporates in less than 20 mins shows how impotent is 3. weird taste in mouth...uggh what a turn off 4. just not worth the money

Not the best
It didn't clean my aligners well at all and it didn't reduce the yellowing in my aligners either. Crystals did not even completely dissolve. Left my aligners tasting like bleach all day long and yes, I did rinse them very well. Feel like such a waste of my money. I'm only using them on my old aligners as I switch them out for the next tray and you need to keep your last one in case of any damage to your next set. Would not recommend.

It's ok
I have only used this once since getting the product to clean my mouth guard. It's ok....I am hoping that with continued use it will reduce the slight yellow color of the mouth guard (guard is only maybe 5 months old). I am also hoping the slight odor will go away too. I have been using polident previously and it seems to help with odor but not necessarily the color.

Too strong
I was anticipating it to be like the brand name Invisalign cleaner which is less toxic and does not ruin the finish of the braces. This is so powerful it reminds of drano or toilet bowl cleaner. I stopped using it after 1 or 2 uses.

Tastes odd and average efficacy
I didn't like the powder dust that flew up when emptying the packet - made me cough. It smells & tastes a lot like a minty pool - the bleachy smell was a turn off. I also can't be bothered to wait 5 minutes and come back - I prefer overnight soak. Blue colour persistent on the retainer. Will go back to my Polident tablets.
