Good product

I did not purchase these for their intended use, so I cannot comment on that. I can however tell you that if you have a pool, these are AMAZING to use as a liner in your skimmer! These catch all the very small, tiny particles and debris that seem to make it way through the filter and back into the pool. You can put one in the skimmer and use a small rock or a chlorine tablet to hold it down. They work really well for this purpose.

Must have for pool owners!!

If you have an inground pool, these are a must have! Especially if you have dogs that like to swim. We keep one on our skimmer basket at all times. It’s amazing how much dirt, bugs and even pollen that is stopped from going to the pool filter. Our dog thinks the pool is her personal water spot. No keeping her out. We had to leave her in the house, due to her fine undercoat. Dog hair is #1 reason for pump failure and clogs. Now the entire family can enjoy the pool.

Use for skimmer basket? Not so much

I bought these hairnets from a review I read on FB (use as a skimmer sock in my pool). They work just OK. They work just ok .. yes, it does catch small particles etc but I'm noticing now that the net does not stay firmly attached around my skimmer basket. More then a few times, I've pulled my basket out for cleaning and most of the net has come loose and is sitting inside the basket itself, leaving half of the basket open. I wont be ordering again. As a hair net, I guess they would work great. Just not for a skimmer basket.

These work great for pool basket skimmers

Maybe doesn't fit all skimmer baskets but it fits mine and it works better than my old leaf canister filters that cost around $100.

Great for lining bannatons

I use these to line my bannatons. Sourdough slips right out, no sticking! They are reusable until they tear. Great hack for bakers!

Fits Pentair skimmer basket

I was worried when I got these accordion type hairnets because when I ordered them before they were open and flat. The current version looked too small for my pool leaf basket (Pentair V-22-110 U3), but they fit. I put a rock in the basket to show it goes all the way to the bottom of the basket. The elastic is two pieces looped around the edge of the net, on the old version it was a single loop. The elastic is covered by fabric, too. I like these for the cheap price so I can use and toss them more frequently than the real pool skimmer socks. I can’t speak to durability yet, but they only have to keep a few days. Do not put chlorine tablets in your basket as nets will melt from contact with the chlorine. Use a dispenser for your tablets instead.

Gets the job done for all the bearded fellas in the kitchen :)

Not a fan of the color, reminds me of Santa Claus, but they are comfortable enough to wear and and are relatively lightweight.

Did not like the side knots. Might not feel stupid if everyone was wearing them. They seem to be good quality and light otherwise.

They fit better than most hair nets

We use the hairnets in a commercial kitchen where we prepare food going to schools. The people on the teams like these hairnets the best. We have tried others but these are by far the preference
