Great idea
I haven't used these yet due to a power outage. However, they are a great idea. I have them charged and ready if needed. I did flip the switch and they will work. I'm not sure how long they'll last without power but I'm glad to have them if I need them.

All we used now
This was on the pricey side but after recent storms we updated all our bulbs to these…power went out 2pm we flip the lights on around 5pm and it was still on when we went to bed at around midnight. Worth the money

They're okay.
I usually love GE's bulbs and their led balanced spectr grow bulbs for houseplants are really great but these rechargeable ones are really just okay. I was hoping to use one in a lamp I don't have an immediate outlet for and I don't like having an extension cord where people can see it in order to plug it in.. and the bulbs work like a regular led when placed into a lamp that's plugged into the wall and turned on... And that's when they supposably charge up... They're a nice warm and bright tone when they're in a plugged in lamp. Just right. However. When they are on flashlight mode or in a lamp that has no power connected they are pretty dim... Really a nightlight at best. I guess I should have expected as such but they won't really work for what I wanted to use them for. They would be good to have for power outages I suppose... Although it seems like the battery life within the bulb doesn't seem that great. The bulb died within a day after charging up for a few days. Not sure if these are worth buying if they cost more than a regular led. But if you need a lightbulb that charges up and lights up without being plugged into power source, go for it. Could make for a cool photography prop. I feel like the idea of these is good and so maybe with some design / engineering improvements they could be more impressive than what they currently are.

Good value
I like these and they def work. They aren’t very bright though. So depending on where you’re using them, you may need a different bulb.

Bulbs are very large
They show using these in table lamps and they are very large. If your lamp shade harp is not very tall, there is no way to use these bulbs in them unfortunately. They actually work great if you can find a place I'm your home that they fit.

It seems to work only with a single lamp
What a marvelous idea in an area that frequently loses power. But my house has a variety of smart plugs and the directions provided both in the box and online suck. I was hoping to use this in the bedroom where I have two lights plugged into an extension cord and then plugged into a kasa switch all controlled by Alexa. After charging for 10 hours, and with the switch on the bulb on lamp mode, I told Alexa to turn on and off the lights. The regular bulb behaved normally. The battery bulb stayed on and would not turn off. I had to unscrew the bulb. So plan B, I have four hanging lights in the kitchen only controlled by a wall switch. So I put one battery bulb there. Turned on the switch, everything came on. Turned off the switch and three lights went off but not the battery one. Had to unscrew that one to get it off. Other areas of the house where I could use it either have smart bulbs or accessing the bulb switch would be hard. So it appears that these only work on a single lamp. In other words you can't have a fixture with multiple bulbs or a smart plug with an extension cord and 2 lamps. Still trying to figure it out. Am disappointed that I will have to put these in areas of the house that I use the least. I wish there were better instructions but if my electric goes out I guess I will have to get a flashlight, unscrew the battery bulbs and temporarily move them where I wanted to have them in the first place.

2nd order
These bulbs are great. They charge as you use them in your lamp. When the power goes out you have several hours of light. But you can also just unscrew them from the lamp and switch them to flashlight mode and use them to see while you walk around!

New lightbulbs that are to be charged and used where you do not have electric outlet.
I liked that this was available but it doesn’t put out alot of light and runs out quick. You then have to use another lamp plugged into the wall to recharge. Could be nice but a couple things i don’t.

Amazing during power outages
We bought these bulbs for when we experience a power outage and they do not disappoint. We simply installed the bulb in our main lamp in the living room and it automatically charges it up. The light is bright and provides a great deal of light. So when we had a power outage the light stayed on since it was fully charged and lasted for at least 7 hours before we headed to bed. An amazing product and a life saving when you need it!

Return them
I wanted a light that was rechargeable independant of the lamp but these only recharge in an electric lamp. I thought I'd keep them anyway and use them in my lamps, but they are too bid for my lamp shades.
