long shank where?

received and was pondering where the long shank was. I have been a fisherman for more than 50 years and got these for perch fishing using grass shrimp and the shanks may have been micro-longer than a normal shank hook but I'd have to measure it with something that can measure smaller than a metric ruler I have. Sorry. As a hook, its a good solid hook and I am not going to pass on it for use. I just wish it was a long shank hook as advertised. 3 stars for the description being wrong, and I checked the box and it too says long shank, 5 stars for it being a baitholder hook which looks well made.

Not the cheapest hook but it is Mustad Quality and I don't mind paying extra, for a quality product. Very strong and holds the bait well. Keeps the point well.

This was really a great deal. These are good performing hooks for lots of species. But the really great deal came when I ordered one pack of 50 hooks, which is probably more than I'll use in 10 years, but what I received was one box (10 packs of 50 hooks), i.e. 500 hooks.so now I have enough hooks for 10 lifetimes. I'm thinking this was an error, but thanks anyway.

#6, size 6 is NOT long shank

Number 8 hook on right is longshank, number 6 hook with bait holder barbs is not longshank. They did refund, but I wanted longshank

Good hook set ratio

I have purchased a number of these hooks in a variety of sizes, the hooks are pretty solid and once you set the hook that's it! End of story for the fish. BUT, they got discolored after a couple of saltwater fishing sessions. That's the only downside.
