Great Wall-Mounted Heater with plenty of features - and smarter than most
I've only been using this heater for a short time, but my initial impression is excellent. 1. Installation - It included all hardware, clear instructions, and a template complete with a level to help place screws/etc. Far better than most products of this type I buy. With this said, their sheetrock anchors seem a bit skimpy, but in my case that was a non-issue since there was wood behind the wall. 2. User interface - Perfectly usable. If all you want is a simple heater, you turn it on, set your temperature, and you are off to the races. it remembers the prior temperature, so really, you can just turn it on and off once you have it set right. 3. Smart Features - This uses the Smart life app, which is used by many of the smarthome accessory makers. It works and ties to Alexa, which is the smarthome assistant we use. Within minutes I had it paired and was controlling it using voice commands. In the app, you could set timers, control the temp, and toggle it on and off so it did everything I really wanted it to do. My intent is to setup an Alexa routine that turns on the heater 10-15 minutes before we get up in the morning. 4. Power Levels - The manual even describes how it controls the power level depending on if you have it set to "Low" "Auto" or "High" which is awesome and demystifies how "Auto" works. I've included a photo from this page. Additionally, when the heater turns off, it leaves the fan on for a bit to cool down. Once again, something not everyone would included that may extend the life of the internals. 5. Construction - The outside construction is all plastic, which is fine as long as it is safe. It feels like it is good quality and well thought-out/designed but not over-built. It's not a tank, but as an example of the thoughtful construction, the top two attachment screws on the rear have rubber grommets around the mount point, which is not something they would have added if they were trying to make them cheap as possible. The bottom mounting screws also have metal inserts, which will better assure you do not end up stripping them out over time. 6. Noise - It is a heater with a fan, so it will make some noise. I've had heaters that are both louder and quieter in the past. I would call this a mid-loudness heater. Not annoying, but you know it is there moving air in the room. 7. Heating Ability - I have not measured it, but stated max draw is 1000 watts, so it isn't the most powerful heater on the market but it is fine for the size of our bathroom. The fan moves enough air that you can detect the heat coming out of it a few feet away. Overall, I'm really impressed. Great value for the money.

Works great, except the timer/Scheduler does not always work.
Easy to install. The heater works. I like the ability to control the setting manually on the touch panel, the remote and the phone. I installed it in the basement bathroom, heats well in small spaces. My issue is that scheduler does not always work, it's a hit or miss. I have it set-up to set the temperature to 85 at 6:00 am and go back to 75 at 8:30 am. Some morning it works, but not consistently.

It's ok
The fact that this is up off the floor and not a tripping hazard is fantastic. The thermostat has to be set several degrees above the desired temp for heat to reach the far side of even a small space but once set up it does the job. Does cause a small audible vibration in the wall noticable from the other side so perhaps do not use on a shared wall. Have used this 24 7 for 4 months to heat a small bedroom with zero issues.

Bought “used”; missing packing foam - still works. Meh, seems weak
I guess I should be glad I got this when I did; I see prices are rising fast for these. I bought this “Used” to save a few bucks; the unit was in its original box but one of the two styrofoam packing pieces was missing. Everything else was included and the unit seemed ok other than a few blemishes. I settled for the non-wifi version, even though I think wifi-enabled stuff is really cool, and I already have a multitude of smart devices on the Tuya platform (which BTW seems to play nice with Alexa). I have it on right now, just sitting on a box, not hung up. The jury is still out. I like that it’s fan-forced as I think this makes a big difference in a heater’s ability to heat a room. But it doesn’t seem very warm or far-reaching so far, even on High. My cheaper ceramic heaters seem about effective, even on the 750W setting. I have my ceramic & oil-filled heaters on smart plugs; I did try switching this on & off in a smart plug, and when switched on the heater seems to remember it’s last setting. But I think it’s not such a great idea as the unit needs to run the fan to cool the elements; if suddenly de-powered these could be damaged over time.

Watts the story?
All electric heaters are limited in the amount of heat they can produce by the amount of watts they consume. One electric heater is much like another, watts are watts but in my opinion these Heat Storm heaters are in a class of their own. I now own three of them, one of the 1500 and two of the 1000 wifi versions and I am having to resist the urge to buy more. I live in an older farm house that had no heat in the upstairs bedroom for more than 20 years. I came across a review of the 1500 wi-fi unit a few years ago and decided to give it a try. Mounting was easy and setting up the wi-fi very straight forward. Using the android app to control and set up different heating profiles is a snap (just remember to hit save). I went along like this for a couple of years and then it happened, I bought a boat with a small aft cabin for sleeping. I considered various marine grade heating solutions but was limited in the amount of power I could use by the size of the battery bank and the inverter. As an interim solution I bought a 1000 watt model and set it up to heat on the low setting to draw only 500 watts while I was on the inverter. Worked like a charm. I decided to set up the boat with a wi-fi hot spot so I could monitor the heat from home and I was hooked. I bought another one for the galley and now wake up to a toasty cabin and galley. One suggestion that would make it better would be to integrate the software with Alexa to allow control of the devices. Currently you can see the heater and toggle it on and off from the Alexa app but you cannot see or change temperature or fan settings. A minor inconvenience to be sure. If anything changes I will be sure to update this review, but for now I am extremely happy. Update: Just found out that the latest wi-fi enabled unit I purchased is recognized by the Alexa app as a thermostat and has basic temperature controls available, nice. My previous purchases show up as heaters in the Alexa app that can be turned on and off, but have no temperature control.

?...(Wow)...^..^
*Product arrived within the time window given; actually arrived 2 days before. * Excellent shape, no damage. * Excellent working order * Nice design, well thought out features, low/auto/high, dim settings. * Looks great if I may add. * Did a little modifying to have it come out 25mm from the wall so I can hide the cord. * After reading about "noise" I mounted the heater on pads, it seems really quiet, its a fan some noise is expected, you don't really notice it. low DB for sure compared to some of the others I have had in the past. * Very impressive, 1000w, gives out sufficient heat as a supplementary heat source. * Glad I went with the WiFi, easy to set up and use. * There is a 3C difference form the main floor to top floor, I definitely notice the difference. * Bottom line; great product, great price,

Better than expected, when used as intended.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this heater to use in the bathroom, as it can get a little chilly in there from time to time. Also, my wife likes sitting on a warm toilet seat. (its the little things in life right?) The bathroom size is approx 120sf. It keeps the bathroom at a nice 21 to 23 degrees without problem. Mounting to a wall took all of 5mins. The extra humidity this unit has had to deal with being in a bathroom thus far, has not affected the unit and being plastic has probably prevented it from rusting. The instructions that come with this heater state the following: This heater will work fine as a "primary" heater up to 100sf This heater will work fine as a "secondary" heater in rooms up to 400sf. It is important to take dimensions of the room your trying to heat into consideration, before purchase to ensure your happy with its performance. Noise measured with a DB meter. 40 to 44 DB on low 55 to 58 DB on high Even blowing on high and the bathroom being right beside the bedroom, doesn't bother sleep. That being said, I actually like white noise and find it helpful for falling asleep. Some helpful tips. "Unless you unplug the unit, it wont turn off". TRUE However, unplugging the unit will wreck it. The heater is designed to keep running, even after it has reached desired temp to help cool the coils, prevent premature wear and prevent damage to the plastic casing. Once it has cooled down, the unit turns itself off. "The unit runs even after it cools" TRUE The unit is designed to circulate air in an attempt to not have to heat it. It pulls heat from the upper portion of the room and pushes it to the floor. It will turn off after. If you find your heater is constantly on beyond these 2 conditions, chances are, you are pushing the unit way past what it was designed to do. Also, mounting it under a window will trick the unit into thinking it's much cooler in the room than it actually is. Keep that in mind when choosing a mounting location. Safety: I have left this unit plugged in for a few months now. I have checked the cord when it was much cooler outside and the unit running for longer times. It has felt warm but never hot. The casing as well has never been hot to the touch. Do to its built in self cooling smart programming, I have no concerns about the material used for its construction. Conclusion: Being in a house that is 100% electric heat and has no baseboard or central furnace heating system means you have to be somewhat creative in your heating solutions. The oil filled heaters work great for larger areas but can take a while to get to temp. They are also much larger and need more room to operate safely. For a bathroom, this heater was perfect. Takes up very little room and is easy to set and forget. Very happy with its performance thus far.

Liked so much I got a second for a spare.
Great little units, used mainly on the low setting and keeps the room warm. However the second one I got as a back up, gets scorching hot to the touch on the back plastic within 5 min. The first unit does not burn your hand. I will not be able to use the second unit and hope customer service will help me out. They are 5 stars but this one has a flaw.

Good heater
Once I was able to search out a MANUAL, it was a snap to set up. It works well, but we haven’t seen any real cold yet (early October - Southern Ontario)The real test is in a few months.

Works for an ice shack but you’ll also need another heat source. I’ve had it in for this winter as it’s dropped down to -60 came back and turned it on no problem ! it heats my trailer 14 footer! It is very quiet
