If you use it once, it was worth buying !
If you use it once, it was worth buying ! This is one of those tools that will sit for years, but when you need it, you'll be glad you got one. Spend a few bucks and keep it in your arsenal. Worth the money !

Works as intended.
Removed a drill arbor to install a keyless chuck. Seems to be forged but I don't know that for sure. Reasonably hard as I can seen to marks in the wedge after use.

Works well.

Rough drifting
So these are stamped (or sheared) out of a bar stock and the flat surface that is "drifting" over the arbor is rough with all the shear marks (which the product photo is suspiciously free of). I suppose with a good wack they would work alright, especially if you lube them. Or, of course, you could put them to a grinder and finish the surface yourself - but why would you? A similar set from Grizzly costs about the same and comes nicely ground and finished and ready to use.

No more trying to do it the hard way.
What is there to say about steel wedges. The price was fair and they do what they are supposed to do even better than I expected. I tried everything I could think of to remove the chuck spindle before I gave in an ordered the right too for the job.

Functional tool at a fair price
I read the other reviews and I will say this: If you expect perfection and have the time, make your own set. But if you need to knock Morse taper tools out of Morse taper sockets quickly and reliably, buy this set and get knocking!

Worth the money
These are exactly what I needed to remove the chuck/arbor from my old Delta Drill Press.

A little rough finish but they do the job
Decent for the price. Could be great with a few more minutes of polishing the surfaces. Especially the angle surface but these do the job so I’m still pleased

Does the job well.
Good heavy pieces of steel with a good angle wedge on them, all edges rounded so they are easy on the hands. Good purchase.
