It works.Don't give up on it.

This replaced the thermocouple on my glass pyramid heater. It took me 4 attempts to get it right . Make sure it is getting enough of the pilot flame . You may have to try moving it around a few times . Also make sure that all the connections are tight.

Problem fixed. Product did what it was supposed to do.

Fairly easy to install. Had to check for other problems not related to this thermocouple to get unit back up and going, but could not have gotten the problem solved without this unit functioning which it did.

Thermocouple works great. Would have given it 5 stars but the sensor was not threaded. Removed old one that was threaded and placed sensor in existing hole near flame and it works just fine. Patio heater works now and only cost me $19.99, so I'm very satisfied.

No Threads

Wrong part, thermocouple did not have threads on it for mounting. I had to order another one that has threads and mounting nuts.

I ordered a new patio heater from Rona online during the Covid lockdown and was frustrated to find that it did not work when it was assembled. It turns out that the thermocouple was defective. I went back to Rona to get a replacement but unfortunately it was not compatible with the brand of the patio heater. So I turned to trusty Amazon to find my solution. Unfortunately with COVID shipping delays it took more than a month to arrive, but once it did, it was super easy to install and the patio heater fired up immediately the first time. Now my wife and I have wonderful heat for cool evenings in the backyard with a nice cold drink. Only downside is that it cost more than $50 for something that I would expect would cost no more than $15.
