Required 3 trailers and have some left

Good Wire but...
I wired my boat trailer lights using this on both sides. I had to break apart the wire in two locations on each side for the side markers....If I do it again..i would use just individual wires and use some heat shrink and water proof solder connectors to make a nice harness (which I did with this wire as well.

Not properly color coded
I bought this wire because I have a 30 boat trailer. Most pre-cut sets come in 25'; length and the wire was not long enough for my trailer. This wire is of good quality, made good connections, and stripped nicely. It did work for me with some modifications. Boat trailer wiring is usually ran down both sides of the trailer. A brown wire on each side for running lights. Then the green wire is ran down the right (passenger) side for right Stop/turn signals. The yellow wire is ran down the left side (Drivers) side for the left Stop/turn signals. The frame of the trailer is the ground. This wire has one of each of the following, green, yellow, brown, and white. So I was able to use the wire but had to substitute the white wire as an additional brown wire. However with the printing on the wire telling you what each wire is for, it would be excellent if you were running the wire down one side of the trailer. Then at the rear of the trailer, crossing to the opposite tail light.

Wire that great for many applications besides just for wiring a trailer.
I discovered this type wire when I was wiring a towed vehicle up to my motorhome. Its braded 16/18 gauge wire. I also found it a perfect wire for running speaker as with 4 wires bonded as one makes for easy running throughout a vehicle. The wire is great for running light turn signals pos and neg line its also labed every foot for what each wire to what light from towed vehicle to trailer as its designed for. But like I SAID Its great for many applications plus its coated for protection against the weather,

Had to throw away the whole room
I only used 25-30 feet of the roll on 3 different applications. One being my salt water boat trailer and 2 utility trailers that never see salt water. I had a lot of previously bought wiring kits from the big box stores and I store all my trailer wiring in my barn in a drawer. I live in the country and keep everything in 2 or 3's so using the roll took awhile to get too. The salt boat trailer went first and I wrote it off as salt erosion. I am extremely thorough with wiring. I used liquid electrical tape on all butts added then wrap with electrical tape. I want to go, not rewire stuff especially when fishing! The three lasted 3-6 months. Utility's get used less so they lasted longer. Wire would break at the butts first but when I tried to strip the wire to see how far down before it was good I couldn't strip the wire because it had disintegrated. I had to use a razor knife to split the plastic casing so you could see what was left of the wire. I thought my butts were the calls however the store bought connection/wiring never have corroded. I was so disappointed I just threw 70ish feet of the roll away. I came back to say this after just having #3 issue where I took the pictures. I reread all the reviews and I seem to be the only one who had this issue(that was published...if I get published). Any how here's trying...

Top quality item
Great quality. I use it on my boat to pass multiple positives and only need ground at the end. Very useful not only for a trailer
