Good for 2 Years

I really loved this cover but it is literally falling apart. I bought this along with a huge table cover and pillow and both of those look and work great, but not the barbeque cover. I am not sure why this cover did not hold up like the others. I paid more money for this product and didn't feel there was value in doing so.

Duck Covers "Soteria" grill cover - be sure you order one large enough

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 61" VERSION. I initially ordered the 53" wide version - but I failed to consider the side handles in my measurements. So instead of 52" (width of the BBQ deck), the width was really about 55" (with handles). Even without the handles, though, it would still have been a tight fit. I returned the 53" and got the 61" - and it fits perfectly. You DO need some slack in order to slip the cover on, but it does not look sloppy. So the 61" version is right for a 55" width. Also my BBQ is 24" deep (again, remember to measure the full dimensions front-to-back). Very good looking on the grill (especially if your house is painted gray!). Can't rate "durability", "water resistance" or "sturdiness", because I have only had it a month. But it is good tough material and I expect it to last a long time. Has vent holes underneath some flaps sewn into the "shoulder" sections of the cover. Another plus (in my book): It is only 40" top-to-bottom, so it does not drag on the ground / deck (on 48" tall grills). It will leave the bottom base and wheels of the grill unit exposed, but these typically should not be a bother. Velcro straps on the sides are big, wide and stick like glue - keeps cover on very securely. Recommended!

Two year life span

Is $23/yr a reasonable price to pay if you were to rent a grill cover? I don't think so. This one looks great in year 1, less great in year 2, and is completely faded and disintegrating at the end of the second year of service. I'll try another option. Maybe my experience will be the same with another product, but I don't have any motivation to buy this one again.

You will be glad you purchased this grill cover.

I have purchased several patio and grill covers over the years, they never hold up and I have to replace them. That is not the case with these. The Duck Covers products are great. I was not sure how it would hold up, so I only purchased one for charcoal grill. After a year and seeing how good it is, I love it and got another one for my gas grill. It is durable and it looks good.

Perfect fit

This is my third Duck BBQ cover. The first one lasted a year in the intense heat and sun of Northern CA. The second one was a knockoff that I that I threw away, this is my third, we have since moved to the mild weather of the coast. Will see how long it lasts at the coast. It appears to be quality and it fits perfect. Looks good too.

Good lasts a few seasons

I don’t expect everything to last forever but this lasted a probably 3 seasons in Ny and in full son. We have purchased this twice and will purchase again if needed. Good buy

Held up very well. Would recommend

Well made. I have had these now for about half a year and they are holding up strong. No fading or appearance of breaking down like many others I have bought. I paid more for covers in the past and they haven't held up as well as the Duck Cover Soteria has in the same amount of time. Good product, would recommend and I plan to buy more for other furniture and outdoor needs.
