Great roller stand
This is the second of these HTC roller stands I have purchased. Both are sturdy and solid during use. Easy to adjust both height and level. The best part of this product is the customer service from the manufacturer. I had a minor manufacturer defect in one of the stands I purchased and contacted Affinity Tool Works for support. They were prompt, courteous and a pleasure to deal with their support staff. Thank goodness there are still good companies like this out there!

Great to allow long pieces of board.
This is my second one. It's a little confusing assembling but overall happy to have. No more hold holding long pieces while pushing through a long board through the bandsaw. I can now concentrate on the cut and watching my hands for safety.

This stand is genius!
I've fought for years using other stands because they're so difficult to set at the precise height off the floor. The other ones are heavy, and they don't have an easy way to precisely set the height. This is important if you're working with long boards with a planer, drum sander or jointer. The genius of this stand is that you set it to a height a little higher than you want it to be and then carefully turn the crank. Because the "column" that holds the roller is tapered, as you turn the crank, it slowly drops the roller. By slowly, I mean maybe 1/32" at a time. It might even be smaller than that. Just turn the crank slowly and you get to where you want the roller to be. It's a simple concept but it works great! It was what I needed.

Better than some but far worse than the best
I purchased a few of these for our custom fabrication shop, to be honest they were as disappointment from day one. Height adjustment is a two hand affair and not precise as one would think based on the desc. The roller is still pretty light duty and the frame is also flimsy. I just bought a few other heavy stands that amazon now sells by vestil and they kick this stands but for only about $90 depending on height. I am far happier with these other stands for less cash and they can take over 1,000 lbs! Adjustment on these does need an allen wrench but i welded a holder onto the stand and its a non issue now. Heavy and Easily Adjusted Roller Stand
This pedestal roller stand is nearly perfect. It was easy to assemble and is easy to correctly adjust to the proper height. The stand is study and well made. The feet can be easily adjusted if your shop floor is not level. The stand is heavy enough that it will not easily tip over. Before, I had a cheap light-weight stand from Sears. This stand is a significant improvement. I would purchase this stand again. Its made in the USA, so that is good. I have revised this review to downgrade it from 5 stars to 4 stars, since it is not so easy to do a fine adjustment of the height.

Fine investment!
I set both supports to bandsaw table height. But one support is on the floor, the other on a half inch rubber mat. Inside the outer square tube is an inner weldment wedge shaped full length. Adjustment down by backing off the crank is highly precise; I imagine a few thousandths of an inch is possible, much less than a 32nd or 64th. I guess it correlates with the thread pitch of the crank, after a study you could make quick adjustments with partial turns of the crank. Set up a machinist's travel gauge then see the result of a quarter turn of the crank. Since the weldment is a wedge there is no slippage. Fine investment !

A Fine Tool
Its strong and steady. The lock style makes it hard to get dead-on accuracy, but I rarely find that necessary with a support stand. My only real complaint is that during manufacturing, a lot of the white paint got on the threads of the feet so I have to use a wrench to make height adjustments on 3 feet for right now instead of finger-tip adjustments like on the 4th. I do expect the other 3 to loosen up in time though, so its probably not a big deal.

Excellent product, sturdier than it looks in the picture.
I like this product and now own three. I managed to dent the roller on one of them when I fumbled a heavy piece of steel and knocked over the roller stand causing the roller to impact a sharp concrete corner, but that is no reflection on the product itself. I haven't been able to find contact information for the manufacturer to order a replacement roller. Overall an excellent product and I endorse it without reservation.

Heavy duty and stable
It is used before and after my thickness planer. It has adjustable leg supports and can be fine tuned the correct height. Exactly what I needed.
