I bought one of these and one of the Dock Edge brand to see which id like better. Both have pros and cons. The Hull Hugger is huge by comparison. Sticks out further and covers more area. The holes have grommets built in which is nice. The Hull Huggers are much softer which may or may not be a pro in your application. I feel like the Hull Huggers might get punctured or torn due to them being more of a vinyl covered foam, but thats just a guess. If you have metal outside corner brackets the Hull Hugger corners s might be trickier to install as the the brackers might make mounting difficult or impossible. And if you have the metal corners with thhe built in clevis brackets these will not work. Hope this review is helpful

Big and Soft
They installed from the top easily enough, but was unable to attach the bottom connection at/below the waterline. They are very soft giving me concerns about durability. It was advised to me by jet boaters on a Chaparral vortex forum that they should be kept clean of dirt lest they scratch the hull. I have not used them yet. Still waiting for delivery of my brand new boat. I’m hoping these last long enough for us to gain the confidence to dock a jet boat delicately and then perhaps we’ll switch to a more traditional fender set up....

No marks on the boat when it rubs against the bumper
Easy to install. You might want to use #14 wood screws to fasten or you'll need washers with anything smaller. Only installed about 3 months ago. So far, holding up well. For the price, you can afford to change every few years

Nice but questionable durability
Worked as designed providing sufficient padding virtually eliminating the need for boat fenders. However, when the boat scrubbed against this corner piece, it separated from the base completely. It is not very durable overall. The seller is providing a replacement.

Great for our Dock
These were very affordable and installed perfectly on our dock. They do not come with the hardware, but we used stainless steal screws.

Awesome!! There are 2 versions on amazon that claim to be the same. This one and the half priced one. Ordered both out of curiosity, this ones the real deal. Great product and works as it’s suppose to doing a great job.

Bigger than I thought
I am only giving this 3 stars because I tried to find out how big these things are before purchase, but that information was not available. When you are trying to figure what you need for your corners and the existing front of the dock, this information is important and should be listed by the seller. The outside dimensions of this product are 16" X 16". The inside dimensions are 12" X 12". The bumper is 4" thick and 6" wide. (top to bottom) The dimensions are noted on the packaging. They do not come with any mounting screws as those have to be purchased separately. I believe these bumpers will be too big for my application and I may have to return them but I won't know that for sure until I get back to the lake. Outside that, the bumpers appear to be made well and consist of a firm padding as compared to being inflatable.
