Great scale
Love this scale! Super easy to use and the directions are very easy to follow. I didn’t realize it gave you so much information but it’s great!

Basic Scale
The scale works, but the extra features and clunky and not intuitive. I end up not using them, and may just spend more to get a more functional product.

Broke within a year: do not buy
Will not work after ten months. Changed and double checked new batteries. Continues to only read "LO." Amazon wants you to buy its warranty service for extra profit and so customers will not get irritated when Amazon tests the quality of its products on customers.

Good precision, couldn’t get the body composition analysis to work
This is a digital body weight scale with a glass base that is designed to measure body composition. The scale measures 12 ¾” square and weighs 3.2 lbs. The top is transparent glass with steel plates on each side. The LCD readout screen is 4”x2”. The scale settings are controlled with 3 buttons at the front edge of the scale. The scale is powered by two 2032 batteries (included). For weight units, you can choose lbs, kilos, or stones. The scale can store user body mass data for up to 10 users (identified by number). According to the manual, it will report weight, body fat %, body water content, and muscle %. The scale has a weight capacity of 6.6 lb to 400 lb. I find this scale is highly precise for weight measurements, but I wasn’t able to get the body analysis features to work. My husband and I are both data-oriented, so we like to weigh ourselves everyday. I use my Nokia Wifi scale, which recognizes me as soon as I step on the scale, greets me by name, tells me my change in weight since the last measurement, and also tells me body fat %, water content, a brief weather report, my heart rate, and bone mass, and sends all the numbers to my phone automatically. It’s an easy to use scale, but it’s not very precise. In 5 consecutive measurements, it gave me 3 different numbers, all within 2 tenths of a lb, averaging to 119.36 lbs. In contrast, my husband’s scale, a New Line travel scale is extremely precise, reporting 119.4 for 5 consecutive measurements, but that’s all it does. No fancy body analysis or automatic weight tracking. This innoHaus scale proved as precise as the New Line scale, giving exactly the same weight measurements for 5 consecutive tries, but reported 119.8. Since the Nokia scale and New Line both agree that my weight is about 119.4 lbs, I would estimate this innoHaus scale reports measurements about 0.4 lbs high. Not bad, especially since it’s so precise (that is, it gives the same exact measurements different times), even f it likely isn’t entirely accurate (reporting the true weight). I wanted to compare the body composition analysis numbers between this innoHaus scale and the Nokia scale, but I couldn’t get the innoHaus scale body composition features to work. I entered my personal data successfully as directed, but ever time I step on to the innoHaus scale, I simply get an error message following the weight measurement and no body composition data. But the Nokia scale worked every time for body composition, with the same conditions, same humidity, same bare feet. In the innoHaus manual, it suggests removing your calluses if you can’t get a reading. I don’t think so! I’d rather just stick with the Nokia scale which seems to tolerate my calluses just fine. In general, the innoHaus scale is a little clunky to use since you have to reach down with your fingers to manually select your user ID before you step on the scale. On our old digital scale, we also had to select the user ID manually, but the buttons were on the front of the scale, so we could operate them with our toes without bending down. Overall, this is a very precise digital scale. It might give body composition data if you have the right kind of feet. It is not the easiest scale to use to track body composition data, but it is also not very expensive.

Nice for just a normal scale. Extra measurements add some interest
This seemed to be a cool idea for a bathroom scale. It looked nice too. Fancy glass top and metal on the outsides. The way we use our scale is to pull it out from behind the toilet and put it in the middle of the room to measure our weight. Sounds like a minor thing, but this scale is heavy. Shipping weight of this per Amazon is 5.9 pounds. SETUP We spent some time with the manual to set this up and at first we thought it was malfunctioning. You have to step on this scale to turn it on. Makes sense, but not when you are trying to set it up. You can put multiple people’s info in this scale, up to 10. They just need to remember the number assigned. In here you put: **** Memory position (1-10) **** Body size (height in inches or cm) **** Age **** Sex (using a little bathroom style icon, took me a moment to see the difference) **** Activity level 1-5 as described in the book. To use this once it is set up: **** Step on the scale to turn it on **** Step off **** Press up/down to select the user (P1-P10) **** Step on the scale with bare feet. **** Initially it shows you your preset data and then your weight. Then it shows **** Body fat (%) **** Body water content (%) **** Muscle Percentage (%). To just weigh yourself **** Step on the scale INFO: Based on my weight, height and gender, I could calculate some of this stuff, so to see if it mattered whether I had bare feet on the unit or not, I tried it with my shoes on. It gave me an Error, so It is doing something. OVERALL: Unless you are in the process, of working out, dieting or something of the same, such at you expect your water and muscle content to change and you want to monitor thiat, this is kind of overkill. Most of us want to lose weight, but I’m not sure all the at information is useful for the general population. However this scale is not out of line pricewise considering how nice it looks. Glass and metal are always a good bathroom combination. Since you don’t have to use the fancy measurements and can just use this to get your weight, it is fine as a regular scale.
