Handy little gadget!

I finally bought one of these after having wall decor sitting beside my bed for a couple of months and my boyfriend would never take the time to help me put it up and I would always just try to eyeball it and guess at whether it was straight or not. I was a little hesitant that this wouldn't actually stick to the wall like it says because my walls are really textured and command strips wouldnt even stick, but It stuck perfectly! And comes with extra sticky stuff! I am going to be using this little gadget a lot!

Works great

I’m very happy with this. I only use for diy projects so it’s perfect. My only concern would be that I’m afraid after time it won’t stick to the wall. But so far so good.

It’s a laser level! It’s a cat toy!

I make a lot of posters and wanted a level to keep my lines straight. While making my first poster, I heard my cat scruffling around behind me. I followed the sound and realized that boy was attacking the laser light. So much fun! We click the on button and that little guy will come running to play with the light. It’s a good level, too.

Great for my calligraphy

I bought this to use when addressing envelopes. By shining the light beam onto the envelope, I could easily follow the line which helped me keep my calligraphy lettering straight. I had seen someone recommend this tool on Pinterest and decided to try it. A great tool for my project.

Functioned as expected

Device had to be tapped in place and even then the weight caused the indication to be less than the source over A 15 foot distance.

Decent

It’s a strong laser. Bright enough to drive my cat absolutely batsh*t while I was using it. I’m planning new curtain rods (my cat climbing the curtains has all but destroyed the rod hangers up there now) across the whole room and the light was very clear all the way across. The reusable strip they include is pretty much blue putty except it’s grey. Right out of the package, it worked great - because it was flat. But when I peeled it off the wall to do the other side, it stretched (as putty is wont to do). So I smooshed it on as flat as I could, but if it’s not perfect, the thing tilts a little toward the wall, which is what causes the light only to only reach part ways across. I had to take it off and play with the putty multiple times before I could get the light to go all the way across the wall again. It fell off the wall once - but I was right there so I caught it. I think it’s a decent little tool, if I can get that sorted out. Amazon suggested “purchase with” Command Strips. Maybe those will work better than the putty included. I bought it for one specific purpose, so being annoyed for a few minutes to get it right wasn’t a big deal. If I was planning on using this frequently and this was the start of the day where I needed to use it, I would be pretty p*ssed. Then again, if I had need for one of these frequently, I would probably splurge on the $100+ ones out there. Probably won’t use it again for a long time, so I will plan to buy Command strips for the next time.

Not great value

Look, it works but no better than some half the price. If this is your budget range look at others. It’s cheap flimsy plastic. The battery lid comes of constantly. The putty to hold it to a wall isn’t strong enough to stop it moving slightly. With a laser level slightly is too much.

Good for me!

I've read the review before buying and so i did not use the sticker. I dont know if the review are true or not but i'm so far i've been using it while someelse else was marking so i did not have this probleme. Pretty accurate and work great. Also in day time works perfectly for me. Did not have the issue that the line was blured or disappeared so pretty satisfied for the price and its wayyyyy easier than a ruler level :)

Needs minor improvements.

Pros: Light and small so easy to carry . AA battery . easy to stick to any surface . Does the job Cons: Dim Laser that is hard to see in a well lit area . sticky parts look like they won't last long and the studs that hold them get stuck to the surfaces. You have to make sure to clean the surface prior to sticking I am a graphics installer so I will be giving this a hoot when I install wall graphics.

I should have bought a laser level years ago. Will never move into a new place without one from now on. Finally things are being hung up with out eyeballing it and then cursing silently in my head for it being a little off for years. Will be giving this as a house warming present from now on.
