Pretty, very fun toy tries to hang on, but easily defeated by relentless kitteh

These are great, but don't last long at all. Cat loved it, but made good work of it: within a week the ball was in half (it breaks apart at the cardboard middle, which is 2 layers glued together and glued again to the particle board-based endcaps. Everything is glued together. I threw out the bottom half and let him continue to play with the feathered half. He loves it. Finally, after about 2 weeks, it was in pieces, like feathers attached to a sisal string with a piece of wood dangling from it. As long as it stays a reasonable price (2 or 3 bucks), I will probably just keep buying new ones, because the cat really likes it, and it is hard to find good cat toys that are not full of synthetics, plastic, or questionable glue threads coming out of them. Cat likes: sisal, feathers don't come off easily, it rustles when moved about Owner likes: neutral colors are pleasing (I hate garish toys), natural materials, simplicity of design Cons: Comes apart very quickly (less than 2 weeks with an active 1-year-old cat). Improvements for Catit: If you could find a way to use the sisal as the core, threading the two ends through the cardboard middle with sisal, you'd have a more eco-friendly and more solid toy, eliminate some production steps and wouldn't need to use as much glue.

A good product, durable. Giving three stars because a product marketed as eco-friendly should not come packaged in plastic!

Not well made!

Very cheaply made. I purchased 2 and when I took it out of the pkg it broke. It was split in two. Cardboard was not glued. Also they had no feathers just strings. If you look in the pic you will see the brown cardboard in the middle of the ball. Not sure why the twine wasn't wrapped all around the entire ball so it would stay together. Very disappointed.

I don't know why my cat goes crazy for this toy but she does. She loves the feathers and trying to destroy her prey. She chases it everywhere and it gets a lot of energy out of her perfect to keep her nails trim.

Don't buy!

Total JUNK, cardboard, feathers, and crap cord. First time in hit the ground it came apart...not going to ask for my money back so I can keep telling everyone not to waste their money!!
