My Chihuahua rides in style!

I went with 4 stars because, when the dog isn't in the basket, it bounces a ton and is a bit noisy. Otherwise it's great. I was using the tapered wicker basket that came with my bike but I had to put a towel in the bottom to lift her up higher to where she could spread out a bit and not be squished. I rigged a way to strap her to my handle bars so she wouldn't fall out. This basket has plenty of room and isn't so deep that she can't see out. I still put a small towel in the bottom just because she's spoiled and I want to make sure she's comfortable. It took some adjusting but, once we finally got it set up right, it's been great. I like the pockets in which I put my phone, a bottle of water, and her leash for when we stop to explore.

My 14lb dog fits in safely and loves riding in this bike basket

It's rather difficult to find a bike basket that fits a long-bodied dog that is sturdy and comfortable. My dog is a shih tzu/lhasa apso mix and weighs 14 lbs. This basket is sturdy and large enough to hold him safely but he can still see out. It has leash hooks to secure him in place. It was easy to install and doesn't drag down on the wheel. The pocket on the side is large enough for his retractable leash and other misc. It would be great for the beach or 2-3 bags of groceries too.

So far so good.

I tried the basket and hood yesterday for the 1st time, it worked great but I still need to get used to the extra weight up front. Also the hood going over the basket is a pain. I wish it went on easier with buckles or something instead of a velcro strap in one corner. I also zip tied the bracket/holder for extra safety.

Small dogs only

Only for small dogs less the. 9 lbs. After then you will be not able to ride the bike easy

Perfect size

Perfect size but not very good engineering it falls to the fender ever bump even while strapped on the handle bars. Great size taking it to a bike shop to see if it can be mounted better.

Bang for your buck!

It took some getting used to the additional weight and steering the front end. My dog loves riding and it’s all good as long as she stays in the basket lol, but So far so good!

Great basket / Weird Mounting

Love the basket and my dog seems more comfortable in this one versus my previous basket. The mounting is overly complicated though and doesn’t fit my bike well. I made it work but not sure long term how this will work out. It’s mounted sturdy, but on the rotational access point there is not much options other than the way I did it

Very Happy! Finally found a dog basket that will work!

I absolutely LOVE this basket!!! My fur babies are approx 10lbs, I bought the xlg, 2 to be exact, and I'm glad I did! It's PERFECT!! The sides are nice and solid, enough room so they are comfortable. Again, I purchased the xlg for my 10lb dog, not confidant it would be good for a 20lb dog but it would depend. The only thing I didn't like are the bike attachments. I don't feel they are secure or safe enough BUT we have e-bikes with a front utility rack and with some Jimmy rigging I'm confidant my pups will be safe. I can't wait to go out there and enjoy some outdoor time and bring my babies with me. I also purchased the top cover and love it!

Don’t buy

I was so excited for this basket for my dog! Although the size is amazing, the attachment for the bike is useless, there is only one contact point for the basket and the bike, and it does not ‘stick’. It fell off during the first use. So disappointed, especially considering the cost.

Bike basket is fantastic

Great product. Really easy to install and it's firmly in place. My puppy and I getting used to it and will soon be enjoying lots or rides!

Our pooch loves this!

We love the dog basket. Our Shitzu/Havanese loves going for rides in it. Easy to attach and easy to remove.
