Nice looking but has some flaws

Looks great in our kitchen however the whistle barley works (can't hear it if you're not standing in the kitchen) and the screws that hold the handle onto the base need to be retightened every week. Poor quality for the price, would look for something better if purchasing again.

Gorgeous Kettle for Kitchen; Great for Heating Liquids

When the kettle arrived I was delighted to see it was the color as shown and it's absolutely adorable as well as functional. On my stove burner I will have it prominently displayed to use for boiling water (as I love tea) as well as leaving it there as it offers a pop of color. Big enough for four generous cups of hot water (or whatever liquid you desire) the kettle comes to a boil fairly quickly. I measured four cups, turned the burner on to high and had boiling water in approximately 9 minutes. Ready to serve, the kettle was easy to pour and the cap on the spout allows additional safety to avoid splashing. Reviewing the kettle before trying it out, I was impressed with the craftsmanship and found the top lid fit well so there was no worry about water getting out. I also noticed that the seal of the spout seemed to hold as I was checking out the bottom. The components seem to offer a solid product, just as expected from the brand. The uniquely designed handle is quite extravagantly looking. While it's high enough to avoid heat transfer with the kettle itself, I learned very quickly it could catch on my sleeve sand cause concerns, so I leave the kettle on the back burner to avoid any worries.

Beautiful, excellent craftsmanship

This is a very sturdy, well made and aesthetically pleasing tea kettle! All parts do get hot, including the handle, so you need a mitt to remove it from the burner. It can only be hand washed and has no chips or scratches in the enamel so far. It IS expensive because it's Kate Spade. You can find a very similar one to this elsewhere for less money, but anyone who is shopping by designer knows they're paying extra for that name, anyway. Happy with the look and sleek design. 5/5

Gorgeous color!

I love this color green. It's very springy and clean. Fresh!! Adds the right amount of pop of color in my kitchen! I had to immediately pick it up due to the color alone. It is made of enamelware which is great. I am loving the modern, yet simple handle. Every detail from the spout, the cap, etc makes this such a lovely piece. I collect unique kettles from time to time and this had to be added to the collection.

Such a fun color!

This tea kettle is great! It’s a great size for a bunch of water and cups of tea. And the color is so fun! It is branded Kate Spade on the bottom and opens very easily, but has a stopper so that the lid won’t fall off if you pour it. It came very nicely packaged and padded. A great gift to give to any tea drinker!

My wife and I love it!

We, my wife and I love the color of this kettle and that is made of enamelware! It will be used frequently for boiling water for tea and perhaps soup and other food needing boiling water. We wish the enamel inside of the kettle was white instead of black, but since it is enamelware I suppose it makes no difference about the color. We also wish the handle didn't take a potholder to hold the kettle when water is hot within it. If there is minor problem for us it is the need of the potholder to hold the hot handle. Other than that we think it to be a great little kettle.

Could whistle better

The media could not be loaded. I love the looks of this kettle. It holds a good amount of water. Spout part and lid is easy to handle. I just wish this kettle whistles better. If you are a far side of the house, you may not hear this whistle. I used to have a kettle that whistled on a very high nite, and so loud. I expected this quality. Other than that, this kettle is cute and does a decent job.
