Solid product, but

interior board are a bit flimsy and dont really reach the edge but work just fine. Latches are solid and it smells amazing pretty sure they use clove oil

sturdy and roomy

this box is huge but small enough for travel- it was the best $30 I have ever spent! It is very compact and yet has so much more room than the other box I was using. I bought it to use as a travel altar for my spiritual practice and it is the perfect size for such a thing. I love the removable dividers! The lid itself is very roomy and I was able to attach a few stretchy bits so that it can hold my travel journal! Finding a place to stow that was always a problem for me. I hated the brand name on the front but it easily pulls off with just one's finger and thumb and its only held on by 2 tint brads. It is the perfect length to carry incense and a holder at the top as well as pillar candles! The compartments in the bottom are not quite big enough for a smoke cleansing bundle or a tarot card deck, but with the removable dividers you can easily remedy that. Each compartment holds a rather large votive candle, for reference. It is sturdy and the finish on it is beautiful - the clasps are sturdy and well made. They had an unfinished version with gold hardware but I prefer silver and the stain color is perfect for those who like a modern look or an old fashioned one! Its a very versatile stain color so all in all, worth the extra $6 or whatever it was to have a finished box and silver colored hardware. I can see this box lasting me a long time! A fairly large tapestry fits in one compartment as well and each compartment is not quite wide enough for a chime candle or tweezers for your charcoal discs, however they do fit diagonally! I can see myself passing this down to my children or niece, its so sturdy and will get a lot of love

Works for me

This is something like a treasure chest for me. It holds my favorite oil pastels, as well as crayons of every color. I have an extensive art supply collection. This has helped me to organize them.

Convenient

Well constructed. Enough room for a variety of things. Nice color. I am very happy with this little wooden box.

Very cheaply constructed

Though it is made with box joints, the wood is very thin and the glue is very nonuniform and messy and does not even resemble wood glue. The glue resemebles a cyanoacrylic (think super glue). The cuts are not even nor sanded. The partitions are flimsy (very thin). The channels for the partitions are sloppy (excessively loose).

Shoeshine box

I purchased this nifty little box to hold my shoe polish and creams. It works out perfectly to organize the different pieces in my kit.
