Okay for the money

It’s not going to hold you ski against any sort of current or waves. It’s a good quality anchor. It’s just not big enough to hold my PWC

It works, but you can't just drop it in the water

Yes, this has a plastic coating that can restrict the flexibility. I use this anchor at sandbars where I place the anchor by hand. The plastic coating does restrict some movement, but it will move to it's limits by hand. This is not the type of anchor you drop overboard and hope it catches. You need to set this manually which is why I give it 4-stars. Don't cut the coating or it will rust. The coating is good. If you want an anchor you can drop overboard, open your wallet and spend the $ on a real galvanized fluke type anchor. Seachoice makes those for 15-19ft boats which should fit your pwc storage compartment. I have one and works great. I have the grappling anchor and it sucks compared to this. Negative reviews are results of those not wanting to spend work or money and expecting magic. For the price this is a very good product!

Did Not Hold

to light for a inflatable boat we just did not grab the sediment in the bottom, we kept drifting away from the spot. not good.

Might work for a small canoe

I wanted this for a floating island but this ancor is too light for the island

This anchor will not work without modification.

The vinyl coating on this anchor prevents the fluke from pivoting. You need to cut the vinyl at the pivot point in order for this anchor to work properly.

Would not hold a tooth pick in place have no idea why it was made

Way to light weight the only wasy to make it work is to throw it around a tree

Good for a lake, only good in the ocean if no strong current

Great for still water, not so good for current and high wave action
