This tool is a wrist saver, quicker & more thorough pipe-end clean up
This tool is a wrist saver, quicker & more thorough pipe-end clean up. I use this in a compact cordless drill & the results are amazing. One complaint though is the set screw that holds the blade in place keeps coming loose and allows the blade an incorrect cutting angle that you have to keep correcting to keep in place. Otherwise, great addition to any electricians tool set.

Works way faster than me
It’s a Klein so yea it’s good. Reams pipe beautifully, doesn’t take the whole thing off but does roll the edge so it’s not sharp which is pretty much the end goal. Only thing that’s annoying is the square bit on the tip does like to pull out of it which is a bit of a hassle sometimes but it could be because I’m using my impact driver so idk

Works well for it's purpose except can't use as an apex
It works well as a reamer but can't use it much with the bit due to it damaging anything that's close to it while it spins. Example I was trying to install a self tapper in a 4-11 box with a wire inside already and the spinning blade cut the wire so I had to remove the bit and install my box then cut pipe install reamer then remove it to install the one hole strap because it hits the pipe while trying to use the bit on the from end. Would be better with and extended front part so that does not happen, But as a reamers it's a Klein and they work well.

Burn thru a bit every 25 reams
Much easier than using a file or sandpaper! The downside is that few cuts are clean or perfectly straight. We cut conduit by hand so no cuts are perfect. End result is the bits weat out a lot faster. No a deal breaker but just wish they were hardend mor and lasted a bit longer. Still like these and no complaints in general.

Low RPM works best. Definitely recommended.
Got outstanding results from EMT cut with band saw when the reamer is used at very low rpm and with low-to-medium pressure.

As expected, it stopped working properly almost immediately
I have used a Klein reamer bit before, and supposedly they have upgraded the design for “bit retention” I can tell you right now that’s bs, the square bit that comes in this product, constantly falls out when using it as directed on pipe fittings. They use some kind of adhesive to actually keep the multi sized reamers on the bit, it’s a separate piece that begins to fall out immediately after using it. As I have done with my previous Klein bit, I wrap the reamer with electrical tape so that it will actually ream the end of the pipe like it’s supposed to, it would not work properly if I didn’t do this, although I could probably just use some superglue. I do this with the attachment for pipe fittings/Philips head bits, wrapping it with the adhesive side facing outwards so as to stick to the inside of the reamer bit, making a Philips head attachment actually stay in there for a while, otherwise it will fall out on the floor and I will not be able to find it. The only reason I have given this two stars as opposed to one is that the bit is not expensive and that Klein apparently has some amazing warranty for their products that I’ve never tested out for myself. Honestly, even if they’re willing to send you a new one every time your product fails, it’s not worth the hassle of needing to Jerry-rig the things together during the middle of your work day so you can actually use them. So, I don’t suggest you buy this product, other people I work with use a Milwaukee reamer drill bit and they have stood up much better, lasting a long time before having problems, the downside being that the Milwaukee bit is much longer which could potentially be a problem if you’re trying to ream in a small space.

Nice tool and cutters last even in an impact-screwdriver tip was lost almost immediately
I've had this for a few years now and came back to change the review. Originally I thought the blades of this won't hold up but it wasn't the case. I bend a fair bit of pipe and despite using it in an impact this thing has held up fine. The screwdriver tip is a joke though and I lost it immediately. I glued a long tip into the slot and that has stayed there. It's not a good tool for using to tighten screws since has is the tip is very short and then you have the blades spinning around right next to it as you tighten something. There is a Dewalt reamer with a better design that has the blades retract.

Great for reaming out EMT, and nothing else.
Great for reaming out EMT, but the Robertson bit on the end falls out constantly. The reamer won't hold the bit that it came with, or any bit for that matter. Was working very nicely, managed to screw on a handful of EMT connectors before it became garbage.

No need for drill bit
4 stars because the bit is pointless would be a 5 star if it didn’t have a bit holder at all

So far so good.
I thought it would suck when i bought it but i did a bunch of 1/2" and 3/4" today and it worked great. Haven't used it for 1" but i assume that will work even better because more of the bit is in the pipe so im not too worried. The robbie bit is interchangable too. *also i noticed that you gotta give it a quick shot in reverse because a very tiny burr develops on the outside if you go at 'er too long*

Recommend To Every Electrician
Just pop this baby in your drill and get to reaming! Very easy to use, and has a magnet for your drill bits, so you don't need to constantly switch between the reamer and bits.
