Not silver, dull dark gray.

The color of the product is just like what the picture shows, it states silver but not what I think the color silver is. I was hoping it would be silver to match my silver chain but it is dark gray. The price was higher than the others is why I was thinking it was silver, I could have purchased the same product for less. Nothing wrong with the function of it, works as it should to dial in where you want your rear tire at.

I forgot that I have it

I forgot that I have it installed on my converted to single speed bike. The bike has vertical dropouts so I used online calculator to calculate what size of rear sprocket I need for my bike and adding this half link increased my choices significantly. Although I can't adjust the chain tension, thanks to this piece, it is just perfectly snug. It wouldn't be possible without half link. I use 1/8" chain (multispeed, probably 8 speed), chain ring is from very old triple ring mountain bike, in the rear I use 18 tooth sprockets, one fixed and one with freewheel.

Great for those cases where you need a half link

Good quality. Works well with single speed chains or tandem timing chains. Use the KMC 6,7,8 speed master link with it- the 9 speed link is too narrow.

Just what I needed

I converted a mountain bike to a single speed using a White Industries ENO eccentric hub, with 45 teeth in the front and 16 in the rear I couldn't get the right chain adjustment, this half link allowed me to get the right adjustment. Using the ENO hub you want the adjustment to be in the 6 o'clock to 8:45 area, to avoid chain loosening. This did the trick

Works with high speed chain from mbrebel

This works perfect with a thin high speed chain. Those are great for bigger sprocket when running disc brakes on the rear.

Great Saver

Without this half link, probably my bigger tire that I ordered to modified my bike will be useless, because of this link the chain fit in on the proper tension.

Cumple a la perfección con su función
