Cute game
This is a cute game, but not accurate. My dinosaur obsessed son has noted that some of the dinosaur names are incorrect. It still works as a go fish game though despite the inaccuracies.

Cool concept!
My grandson loves learning about the United States. These are a perfect companion to his other USA games.

Easy to carry on the go
Fun little set that you could bring it on the road. Something to keep little one busy without the help of electronic devices which we all try to set a limit on for usage.

Clever Addition to a Great Game
I really like this game. The photography is fantastic and all of the referenced locations / landmarks / monuments are really fascinating with great information about each of them. Lots information on what makes a particular landmark or monument exceptional. Play is just like regular Go Fish except you ask a player if they have a type of monument or location card like "Rivers" (for example). If the player says they have a "Rivers" card, you then ask for a specific card (like Rivers 2 or "The Nile"). If the other player has that card, they must hand it over to you, the object of the game being to collect more 4 card sets than any other player (each card category has 4 cards). If you are asking for a "Rivers" card, you have to have one in your hand, so remembering what players ask for gives you an edge. If you don't guess right when asking for a card, the other player will tell you to "Go Fish" and you then pick a card from the "Fish Pond". The cards are a bit large and hard to shuffle although my wife was able to do it the usual way. Kids could use the spread them out on the floor method to mix them up. This game really makes you want to travel. I was blown away at how few of the places I have visited. I found it to be quite an enjoyable eye opener. The game comes in a cute little tin. Unfortunately, mine got crushed in the shipping process but I was able to bend it back to a usable form. While Go Fish is thought of as a kid's game, this is a great game for adults as well. It definitely tests your memory and sparks your imagination on your next travel destination. I really enjoy playing this game.

weird rules, but fun
Not your normal "go fish". It's got weird rules that you have to call out the type of dino first, then the actual dino... eventually just started playing with the numbers like regular "go fish"

Huge Cards!
These cards are much larger than standard playing cards. I hope to post a picture later. They may be a bit difficult for little hands to hold. When I was a kid we had a deck of Go Fish cards with famous authors. That was a long, long time ago and I have never forgotten those authors and their most popular books. Lots of learning is possible with these cards. Topics Include: Nature Wonders, Earth Mysteries, Castles, Statues, City Gates, Waterfalls, Rivers, Towers, Mountains, and Man Made Wonders. I can't wait to play Fish when I see my granddaughters soon.

Fun and educational with great visuals!
My kids really love the Purple Cow’s Go Fish games, so we have a couple variations. This Monument & Landmarks one is particularly good. There are ten category sets: Mountains, Waterfalls, Rivers, Nature Wonders, Earth Mysteries, City Gates, Towers, Statues, Castles, and Man-made Wonders. Each set includes four cards, highlighting a particular landmark within the category. The goal, as with classic Go Fish, is to collect as many books of four cards as possible before the game ends. The gameplay is unique in that on each turn the player will ask an opponent first if they have a category (e.g.: “Do you have Castles?”), and if they receive a “yes,” will continue asking the same opponent for a specific card (“Do you have card 4: Neuschwanstein Castle?”). I love this, because it reinforces my kids’ learning to speak, hear, and see the names of each landmark! The game has the added twist that if someone has the category you desire, but not the specific card, they have a chance to steal your card(s) in that category on their next turn (if another opponent doesn't do it first)! The cards are colorful, with great visuals, and a short informative paragraph giving some facts on each monument or landmark. Even if you aren’t reading each one during the game, it is hard not to read at least a couple, and become more and more familiar with each place with every new game.

Really Fun Twist on a Classic Game
I actually got this for my husband and me, as we sometimes like to sit outside after dinner and play cards when the weather is nice. I hadn't played Go Fish since I was a kid, and I really liked the educational twist on this particular game. (We really love history and travel information about different places.) That said, this game is a LOT of fun -- definitely classic Go Fish with a little something extra. The cards are beautiful, and all the information on them is really interesting. This is a great way to learn more of the actual names of different places you might know by sight only and perhaps be exposed to some new ones you don't know at all yet. I can see how this would especially be a blast to play as a family if you have children. I actually wound up liking this so much more than I thought I would, and I'm really glad I ordered it. Lots of fun and a great addition to anyone's collection who happens to like different card games.
