Lots of light, 3 different levels. Good to use when power goes out.

Great sturdy light with 3 levels of brightness. Battery easy in and out. May purchase another in case of storms and loss of power.

Super bright and great to light up a dark room

Just the day after receiving this I had a power outage that lasted all evening. Its really bright and has no audible sound. its entirely passive cooled. As for battery storage. Every single dewault battery will fit. Even the big 15ah 60v pack. The only issue is the door wont close on it with the big battery installed but it wont limit the function of the light. overall i really like this and its the first light ill bring to a job site!

Got this for my boyfriend, he uses it for work. But also uses it when the power goes out and when we’re grilling at night! Can be used for anything!

TOUGH!!!

This is by far the toughest most versatile brightest and i day again toughest lights I have ever used. I have it out working in my utv in Rocky terrain i Forget it’s on thf roof sometimes and send it off 7’ drops down onto rough rocks it’s taken a couple dozen good spills and hasn’t failed me yet. Sometimes you are better off to bite the bullet and spend a little more $ and this light is worth way more because I would have broke over a dozen cheaper lights by now and cost me 3x more and I would be in the dark! Good job DeWalt!!!

Dewalt needs to add a plug in option badly, due to high battery consumption

Pros: bright light, well built, simple to use Cons: low battery life, kinda bulky if used in small spaces. Cord plug in option is a must! My first one quit working unexpectedly on the second day of use, so had to return and order another one… Overall it’s a good tool but expected more for an over $200 lamp.

Dewalt missed the mark …. Could have been a GREAT product.

We bought this to use while building our house. Very disappointed. - Blows through batteries REALLY quickly Even the 9aH only lasts about 4-5 hours. 5aH barely makes it past morning coffee time. - Battery chamber is really tight, difficult to change larger battery (especially in the dark) and if you don’t have the 9aH battery lined up just right it doesn’t work & gets stuck in the hole. - This light should have a built in charger and detachable or retractable power cord with option to use plugged in OR battery mainly because it eats batteries so quickly!!!! You’ll need a lot of batteries and chargers on hand to use this unit effectively. Lame engineering! Poorly executed! The Bluetooth feature works but totally useless. Dewalt should concentrate on the basics before adding ridicules Bluetooth

Great Light

Light arrived at a perfect time ...a 12 hr power outage. Always knew of the necessity for power backups in the home but a good reminder in the middle of a COVID-19 winter in -20 Canadian Winter. First off I saw a couple reviews about the battery life so I was sceptical..I used this at minimum light output with 6ah Flexvolt fully charged battery. After 3 hrs of use the battery was still at full power. The lowest setting provides an adequate amount of light to play boardgames and find your way around. Great spread of light given the bulbous/dome design on top (kudos to DeWalt on that one). Only knock on it would be the weight of the light...its heavy but I actually like the heft. Would do well if accidentally hit on a job site. Handy foldaway hook on the bottom for hanging from from rafter etc for over head lighting and a Hole for tripod mounting (probably with a DeWalt product) An overall well designed product by Dewalt. Will be useful for many projects where portable lighting necessary.

Way better than depending upon the light of the moon!

Initially I was going to purchase the tripod work light but decided on this instead. My son owns his own eavestrough installation business and is the kind of guy to work 'til he gets the job done. This often means working after dark. This unit can be mounted to a tripod but I like how my son can move it around to various spots and not be limited by a tripod. He wouldn't buy it for himself but my son admits this light is a big help when finishing off a job, cleaning up a site and loading up his trailer at night. Highly recommended.

Holy crap it's bright!

So, my buddy got the spotlight version on sale from Amazon. I was looking at it and this version came up as a suggestion. I checked the specs, and pulled the trigger. Well packaged, with great documentation. Added bonus is that it runs as a Bluetooth app, which lets you set schedule, and infinite adjustments on brightness. You can leave it hanging, or on a stand ( it has two styles of build in mounts), and start it from your phone. I'd definitely recommend. Did I mention it was really, really bright?

Great light!

Good buy, my hubby loves this light. But he is a fan of dewalt ( he should be a sales rep) because he talks up their products often! “Awesome, extremely bright ( don’t look into the light) great for extending your work day! Loved that it’s cordless,but would be nice if there was also cord for those rare occasions that I’d want to use the cord option. I like how there’s a hanging option, great for hanging up high to light up the area..in regards to the battery light with the 6amp battery ( not included) it last just under 4 hours.). Overall I’m happy with this product!
