This little guy will run you out of the room

This is my third one, all placed in rooms I go in the most - rest room- no more cold toilet seat - this this close by and the heat warms it in a minute, bedroom, and office - but you could move tham anywhere of course. This one is a an enormous bedroom with 12 foot ceilings, so I keep the ceiling fan on to push the heat back down, but it will warm the room in minutes and keep it warm, but not baking alive, due to the thermostat. Sometimes, it keeps running after I set it though, but there is a strong chance it could be me, not paying attention and getting in tune with it. I love them, my electric bill would be twice as high to heat an apartment this big without them. Fairly quiet, it's just rushing wind from a strong fan. One thing, DO NOT SIT ANYTHING CLOSE TO THEM AND ONLY SET THEM ON A FLAT, HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE. The heat will shoot out and rise, acting like a convection oven if anything is close, it will basically bake it, heating it up. Leaving it on 3 feet from the bathtub for 4-5 hours, I return and even the shower rod ( 7 feet off the floor ) was almost too hot to touch!! With the steam and heat, it looked like it actually dried out the ceiling in the small room, I had to touch it up and not run it so long in there. They work, make no mistake, just use common sense though. If you have ceiling fans, it really helps push the heat back down I believe too.

Reliable

Used this space heater for years, it survived fires, floods, and even hail. Not the most sophisticated piece of technology but it heats your room and doesnt set carpets on fire 10/10

A little lighter then I expected

This arrived today. I gave 4 stars on everything as I just don't know yet. Powerful little heater. I have always purchased Lasko heaters off Amazon. I have a tower heater and also the same heater in my bathroom purchased last year. They really last long and Lasko really concentrates on safety. I was a bit surprised that this one is half the weight of my same one purchased last year currently in my bathroom. I have to see how it goes to match up with my same one purchased last year. Maybe it's a manufacturer thing to make it lighter.

Fantastic little space heater

Has a great small size but not short on putting out heat. I was surprised at how much heat it puts out for it's size. Has a grip handle, black and nice to look at and great for the price. Buy it you won't go wrong.

No way to plug in and immediately broke upon powering up

Doesn't come with an adapter to actually plug in. No idea what country plug this thing uses but it isn't a UK one so why that isn't listed on the product menu on amazon.co.uk is beyond me. What a scam. Broke upon powering with the fan stopping working. Absolute rubbish and a complete scam that this nonsense is on the uk amazon page

Perfect for Small Spaces -- a little loud

This is a great little heater for small spaces -- we needed something for our downstairs TV room. Heats quickly and doesn't overheat the room -- so thermostat works as it should. Price is very reasonable. Only small disappointment is that it is a little loud in the room, necessitating turning the TV volume up a few notches, but because it works quickly it doesn't stay on too long.

Quite happy

My office is about 150sq feet, this heater works great and heats up the room quite quickly. The noise isn't too loud, I don't think it would bother most people. I can still hear soft spoken individuals in my office when the heater is on. Cost is reasonable, I think there may be cheaper options out there, but you generally get what you pay for, so I'm happy to have spent a bit more for good quality.

Such warmth for so small a unit!

I had read good things about Lasko ceramic heaters online and wanted try one. This seemed to be the perfect balance of cost and meeting my needs. For an 8in x 6in x 5in cube it is WARM. I put it under my desk for my cold feet (working in the basement) and I've got it on the lowest fan setting with a heat setting of 3 (out of 10) and I'm good to go. I'm amazed that the first time I turned it on, it gave off heat within a couple of seconds and the casing stays totally cool. What I love about these ceramic units is that it heats what you point it at (and not trying to fill an entire space with warmth - that gets lost if you open a door move around a lot). But everyone who lives in my house says that the basement area that is usually quite cold is very comfortable when they come down to talk to me. Highly recommend! Lives up to its reputation and positive reviews.

Perfect for the boat

My last ceramic heater lasted 15 years, running all winter in my boat. I took a while to find another I felt I could trust. The reviews and tests on this particular Lasko seemed to indicate it was of high quality and durable enough to survive in salt air. Well, it's been in the boat for a few months now and it doesn't disappoint. The boat is always dry and mold free. Not to mention, warm when I get in to go for a run to the cabin.
