Leviton delivers another great product

Wired this up to the air compressor in my shop. To remind me it's on when I can't hear it running. Not very bright, but it's enough that it gets your attention. Heavy duty and solid design you would expect from a Leviton product.

Specialty switch does its job

This lighted high voltage specialty switch does what is expected when properly wired. The LED is on when the power is on; off when the switch if off. The price seems pretty high though.

Works perfectly. Just the way I hoped. Light is on when switch is on and off when in off position. I use it to turn on a 240v heater upstairs and it lets me know if I left it on by mistake

Light is always on.

Light always stays on, wired it every which way possible. Not sure if its supposed to, but I needed a 240volt switch to control a compressor located in a back room and wanted the light to only be on when the switch is on.

Works

Using it for 240 volt switch for VFD that powers a bridgeport mill. I wanted a pilot light so when I walk out of shop I know the drive isn't running needlessly.

Does what it does but overpriced

Used it for the cottage water heater, I wanted the pilot light to remind us to turn it off when we leave. It's a ridiculous price but I couldn't find an alternative with a built-in pilot light.

Works fine

I have had mixed experiences with Leviton products but this one seems well made and it is working well. It is being used to switch a small 240V appliance. Contrary to what the documentation for the switch says, no neutral wire is needed for the pilot lamp to operate; the pilot lamp derives its power from the two switched legs.

The replacement product did not function as required.

The switch once again worked but the pilot light did not work in a 120 volt A.C. application. The switch is rated at 277 volts A.C. but the package and the switch are labeled 120 volt A.C. Why does the pilot light not work?
