Le jersey tubulaire à tissage serré et tricoté sans couture protège la peau des plâtres, des bretelles et des couches de compression. Jersey 100% coton très doux, souple et doux pour la peau. A utiliser de préférence en première couche à côté de la peau pour la protection (lymphologie et phlébologie), en particulier sur les pansements à la pâte de zinc.

Plenty stretchy! Soft coverage for any wound.

This tube gauze was an excellent segue' from twice daily bandages to a less bulky bandage for overnight. So glad I found it on Amazon!

If you have a removable splint, you will like this.

I wore a removable splint for 10 weeks for a broken thumb. The Doctor's office gave me 3 Stockinettes to take with me when I left the office. They were a little heavier material than this product but they didn't wash well and started to stretch. This roll allowed me to cut a fresh liner each day and discard it at night. I still have over half the roll left but it was well worth it in the long run. If the product had been as heavy as the ones from the doctor's office I would have given it 5 stars.

Works great at first...

My husbands puts it on under his metal knee brace. Helps to keep the brace in position without slipping, and also reduces irritation on skin. He also uses it to hold ice packs in place on his knees - of course with leg elevated. Update: After several uses, he has pretty much stopped using it. The "sock" doesn't hold keep the knee brace in place - tends to slide because the elasticity isn't quite strong enough. Too bad - we now have a whole roll of this that won't get used.

Works well for after orthopedic surgery

I had Achilles tendon surgery and needed to protect my ankle for about two months, in order to avoid the rubbing of my shoe against the incision site. I wear socks every day but needed an additional closer, softer form of protection. The doctor's office gave me a length of this at the post-of visit but that quickly needed to be replaced. I bought this and I'm so happy to have my own supply to get through this healing time. At first it appears pretty flimsy but it serves the purpose exactly as I want. It's not intended to compress the area like surgical hose. It is the thin stockinette fabric that a doctor would put on your arm or leg before putting on a plaster cast. Its purpose is to protect the skin from irritation. It is so nice to have!

Soft material, washes with little shrinking

Soft material, washes without much shrinking. I used as a lower leg covering inside a walking boot to keep the boot cleaner during my 8 weeks recovery. It was loose fitting. It was too wide to use as a sock, I should have ordered 3" for tight fit but it worked perfect for a liner.
