Higher quality than others around this price
Ok Amazon solved the issue I had so I'll give this the review it deserves...Plus I got plenty of drive time with it now...Love it...Just something about the way it glides over terrain feels good...I have a Typhon and a Hoss but the Losi is more satisfying...Its not as easy to work on as an Arrma but still its more fun to fix/upgrade...Only break I had so far is the front bumper...I do drive rough and take it through giant mud puddles and it takes it fine...Its not a basher out of the box but after some RPM arms and front bumper I would say it is

Best looking RC Truck
I finally made the jump about a year ago from a toy RC to the real deal. I chose this truck because I love off road vehicles and this RC looks exactly like a Trophy Truck. Plus it has the best suspension in my opinion. Im very happy with my purchase, but there are little things I learned along the way that cost me money and time. Truck is top heavy and flips easily on cement or asphalt. This clearly caused the body to crack and break. Do yourself a favor and reinforce the body prior. Youll notice I had to cut off the fenders because they broke and rubbed on tire. To drive outside of dirt tracks I suggest buying street tires, the ones I purchased were slicker and low profile so it allowed the car to drift on turns instead of flipping. You can see them in the pictures included. The car has 2 metal chasis that can bend easily on a hard crash. This will cause the car to pull to which ever side it bent. Chasis is about $50, but you have to take the whole car apart to replace. Picture included. I upgraded my rear shocks to Pro lines and kept my shock shocks as a second option without the springs. This has really helped on big jumps. I also upgraded my A arms and rear suspension parts to blue aluminum. Mostly for estetic purposes, but I havent had any issues with them. These are just minor things that i discovered over time. Not a bad thing, just things I hope will help the next buyer. On the plus side, it handles amazing on dirt tracks. The suspension helps land the truck very solid. Comes with very bright front LED Bar and rear light. Has 2 extra connections for additional lights and/or accessories. The remote that comes with it helps allign its driving and has a great range. Plus everyone compliments how cool it looks. Definately a scale trophy truck.

This this is crazy fast
I did begin making some gear noise so I stopped the motor and found a tiny planetary gear floating around but still goes like nothing I've ever seen lol.

I beat the heck out of this thing
I drive semis cross country and was looking for something to mess with on my off time and am very happy with my purchase. I've had this for a but over two months and I thrash it hard with almost no problems. Worse thing was the glue started to come off the rear tires but with some super glue it was fine. I did break the from bumper off pretty quickly but still works, replacements are less than $20. As far as battery life that just depends on what batteries you run, I run 2s and I get about 15 to 35 minutes per battery depending on how hard I'm running and what setting the throttle is on (50/75/100). Keep in mind you do have to supply your own battery and charger but this isn't uncommon in the rc world. Out of all my rcs this one by far is my favorite!

Cogs real bad out of the box
I purchased this as a budget option Trophy Truck rather than buying the more expensive Traxxas UDR ($500) and the Super Baja Rey ($900+) on a 1/10 scale but there are a couple of issues with it. 1.) The materials are very cheap and chintzy. Coming from Traxxas or even Arrma, the Losi BR felt very cheaply made the the plastics are flimsy. 2.) The cogging from moving from a dead stop is painful and sounds like the gear mesh (which was fine) or something was about to grind itself to oblivion. The amount of cogging is unacceptable out of the box. 3.) You will have an extremely limited range of LIPO batteries that will fit in this thing, including 2S. I had to buy a pair of 2S SMC 5000mAh batteries just for this, which I ended up returning the truck anyways. 4.) While checking the gear mesh, the bottom aluminum panel sliced my finger while I was taking the panel off that allows access to the gear mesh. 5.) I've done my due diligence and researched this truck prior to purchase and it sounds like people don't recommend running 3S on this truck as it will accelerate wear faster than most trucks while driving it as a scale truck (not really bashing). It's disconcerting to say the least. Beware of surface RCs owned by Horizon Hobby: Arrma, Losi, etc.

Good truck
I like the truck. It just need to have better shock and springs for proper handling. It is way to fast for the suspension. Also the warranty has been a problem. I had a bearing go bad in the front differential. It took out the ring and pinion.I got a link sent to me to buy the parts. If you want a good truck to have fun with and get a good warranty. Buy a Arrma. I had a short course truck. when I broke a part I would just contact Arrma with the parts that I needed and in two days I was back up and running. I might be going back to one.

This things great takes the abuse and hauls good, shines offroad and flies pretty straight for a solid rear

SEXY ALL IN 10TH SCALE!
other than the little bit of pre-matinance ( putting oil in the shocks, adjusting shock height to combat roll-overs and tires rubbing against the body) it's pretty amazing! the stance, lights, colors, handling, and the body....100%!!
