Good and Straight 18-inch Drill Bit

Got this to redrill a cleaning rod channel in the stock of an old WWII surplus Japanese rifle that had been cut at half the length of the forearm for shipment home (obviously a capture gun); the stock (forearm) had been reattached with a piece of 1/4" dowel glued into the original channel of each section. Obviously, a replacement cleaning rod to make the rifle complete could not be inserted because of the dowel piece blocking the channel, so I bored out a larger hole in each section (after separating them again and removing the 1/4" dowel piece) and glued them back together using a larger dowel piece, so that it could in turn be drilled through to accommodate the cleaning rod. I needed a drill bit this long to do this, sturdy enough to follow the original channel and drill the hole through the dowel in a way that aligned with the remainder of the channel on the other side of the dowel. This bit fit the bill to a 'T' and now allows a cleaning rod to be inserted and seat properly as originally intended. Thanks for a very good product!

Honestly very disappointed. Broke on first use. I want to believe it was a factory defect that caused it but im unsure. Appeared to be good quality originally. Not user error. Electrician by trade.
