Lightweight yoga bag

The bag can fit almost any regular-size mat and it's really lightweight. The fact that it's also waterproof is a great plus.

Fits larger mats well

I just obtained a Yoloha cork mat size 26x80 and needed a bag as the strap I had previously used did not handle the cork mat very well. This bag is plenty big yet still very portable. It seems well made and hopefully is will last as long as the mat does. I was tempted to go with the cheaper Manduka bag which has mesh sides for better breathability as I do hot yoga and the mat gets sweaty, but I was leery of the tight fit of that bag's dimensions as well as the durability of the mesh material.

Lightweight but durable

This is a great product. It's a little pricey, but considering it's waterproof that makes it worth it for me. I travel a lot and like to take a good mat with me, so investing in a good mat and a bag like this one was a no brainer.

Adequate but expected more from Manduka!

I've been practicing yoga consistently for over 6 years now and always encountered the best yoga teachers and gurus using Manduka mats etc. When I saw this bag I thought it must be top-of-the-line because of this. The exterior of the bag on one side has a long mesh-like open pocket I'm guessing for a water bottle or incidentals but could've used a smaller zippered pocket instead. Most of us have needs for dedicated pockets to keys, cell phone, lip gloss. Where is this pocket on the bag?!? Also--the interior open pockets just don't cut it. My small things fall out of this all the time. I'm going to velcro my own zippered pouch inside the mat! I did expect more thought put into the bag though especially for a yoga company. I like the thick strap...most good mats weigh in at 5-9 lbs. and the strap helps make the carrying easier. I go to a yoga studio which does not allow bags in the studio but now I can get away with putting everything in my mat bag...if only I had more zippered compartments!

Great deal! Would repurchase. Fits Pro and Prolite.

I have been looking for a bag that is pretty simple and has an area to store my valuables. This bag does just that! Its black and fits my maduka Prolite perfectly with lots of room for a towel, etc. The strap is thick too, so I don't see this bag digging into my shoulder. With my mat in the bag, I feel like the weight is pretty evenly distributed, and the prolite is on the heavier side. I am excited about the mesh pocket on the side to hold a water bottle. This carrier was much cheaper on Amazon when compared to the $40+ price tag elsewhere. I would repurchase. But note, the inside pockets DO NOT have a zipper. I think that is an Amazon typo. Update: this bag also fits my manduka Pro. Just be sure to roll tight. You won’t have much room for many other items in the bag, but you can probably still fit your cell phone and keys.

The right bag for me

I bought both the Go Steady Mat Carrier and Go Light Mat Carrier for my Manduka Pro 6mm Mat. The mat fit in the Go Light Mat Carrier without issue. I simply returned the Go Steady Mat Carrier because I did not need the extra space this bag provides nor the division of the larger bag's interior into two zippered spaces. I have no blocks to carry with my mat, just a towel that tucks in along side my mat. I am a happy customer with regard to both the Go Light Mat and the Pro 6mm mat.

Little tight for the Manduka Pro mat

The product is super light and well constructed. I bought the thick Manduka Pro mat and its a tight squeeze in this bag. But it does fit and inserting and extracting the mat is easier if put the handle end of the bag on the floor and open the zipper fully.

Good Solid Bag

I use this bag to carry my Manduka Pro and a few other things to Yoga classes. I usually bike and the strap distributes the weight well on my shoulder with no problem. It is waterproof so, I can ride in the rain and my stuff remains dry. Also, when traveling abroad, I ride subways or buses to Yoga classes so, I don't want a "breathable" bag that could also allow virus germs in. It is built solid, has a simple, effective design, and the fabric is tough. Also, as a guy, I appreciate the fact that it is plain black with no cute, flower designs on it. It has a nice industrial look to it.

Simple and great all in one bag!

I really enjoy this bag! Simple and it fits all of the essentials plus an extra shirt or pants and it's affordable when it's on sale! Definitely keep an eye out cause I think it's a great yogi bag! Wish it came in different colors and a zipper on the outside of the bag though! I might just add it on myself.

Superb yoga bag!!!

Absolutely worth paying a bit extra for this over less expensive bags in my opinion… What isn’t totally clear and a nice surprise when I received it, is that there is a large elasticated pocket on the outside of the bag for sliding in a towel or water bottle. I have an 8mm thick Matt which fitted comfortably, I can also include a couple of towels and my bottle and there is an interior pocket for valuables! Very happy!
