A DIY level kit, that also works in tighter quarters

I find this kit somewhat contradictory in that it uses the SDS mounting system usually found on professional grade tools, yet tool bits of this size and construction are better suited for the DIY workman. This is most prominent in the short lengths of the two chisels. Generally speaking, it is desirable to have 2-3 times greater distance from the materials being broken up by the chisels. The distance protects your hands from pieces kicked back, and also gives you a better view of your work. Still, there are times when one must make use of of such items in close quarters, and here you have the tools to do so. I must also comment on the box these came in. If these bits are destined for low frequency use, it is convenient to have them all collected together in one container. However, this box leaves me wondering about its durability. The plastic seems brittle to me, and the latch is entirely of plastic. The hinge seems to be of plastic as well--it may turn out I'm wrong, but I don't anticipate this box holding up to rough field conditions. Overall, this kit definitely has its uses, but I suspect I will consistently reach for tools of this nature which have longer shafts. Nonetheless, the price is quite low and may be a good way to familiarize yourself with their use and functions.

Good selection of SDS-Plus bits

These are are decent set of SDS-Plus bits for the price. It is a good basic set that includes common sizes and even two chisel bits. The drill bits are long enough for basic work, certainly log enough for Tapcon screw pilot holes. I used these for some Tapcon into brick with no issues. They come in a basic plastic case, but it is still a nice touch.

Very sturdy

I was able to drill through brick and concrete with ease. These were some of the sturdiest, well built bits I have ever used.
