since the website does not give any measurements for the size the S/M i ordered was about 23.5 inches long. the materials used appear to be of reasonably good quality (it is probably leather judging from the faint smell, but i'm not absolutely positive) the mask is comfortable when worn and DOES obstruct vision. it does let a very small amount of light in at the bottom around the nose area, but most blindfolds do (save those that force you to close your eyes). overall not a bad product.

Inconsistent sizing

I've bought stuff from the Strict Leather brand before, and found most things labelled M/L to be hugely over-sized, so I went for S/M this time only to find that it's definitely more of a Small than anything else. I don't understand Strict Leather's sizing bands, if Small/Medium just means = Very Small, then why does Medium/Large mean you've got to have a head the size of Shrek for anything to fit properly. So, I got a S/M facemask, and whilst it does fit, it only just fits. The velcro at the back barely touches, and it feels like it'd tear open easily if there was too much movement. The velcro itself is good quality - it's just that there isn't a lot of contact if you're a Medium wearing this thing. The leather is reasonably nice, well stitched and finished. The padding under the eyes is a nice touch. Makes it easy to actually open your eyes if you wanted (providing nothing else is preventing you from opening your eyes anyway) and you're still in pitch black darkness. Can't say I experienced any light bleeding in through the nose grommets like other people said they did, but I haven't exactly used this much. Can't say I've found the top strap useful at all - I think it's more for decoration than anything practical. I might remove it on mine as it gets in the way when layering other things on top of the facemask (like muzzles or hoods etc).
