Fantastic Machine

I got the hankering to make a potato leek soup and finally broke down to buy an immersion blender. When I say it's a fantastic blender. Just a few passes and I had made a lovely blended soup. Cleanup was a snap.

My new favorite kitchen toy...er tool. ????

The media could not be loaded. I love this immersion blender! First, it's beautiful and matches my kitchen appliances with black and stainless steel. I will be keeping it out on my counter , ready for use, not packed away in a drawer. I love the weight of it too, feels very solid, parts switch out securely and easily. It is so handy and saves me a ton of time and clean up time over my food processor and hand mixer. I've been using the heck out of it since it arrived. I can make a fruit smoothie right in the glass I will be drinking it out of and SO FAST too! I made a smoothie in under 2 minutes from starting out with frozen fruits to slurping it up with a straw. (Video included with this review.) And clean up was equally fast with only the one piece to wash. I mashed 7 bananas in seconds, and packed them in the freezer for future use. These were made with the primary chopping blade attachment. I also whipped up some pudding with the whisk attachment and used the froth attachment to blend cornstarch and broth to thicken my stew. There are so many uses for this tool I don't know how I got along without it for so many years. Nice job Master Chef, I will now be buying myself some of your other kitchen tool line.
