You need to be tall and strong to use this

I first tried this with edamame and tahini dip. It really didn’t chop up much. Then I tried it on a pot full of soup and I was shocked how quickly the job was done. My only problem is that I’m not tall and strong and it’s hard to use. Plus, you have to keep your hands on two buttons at the same time. I’ll keep putting my items in the sink to use this. But it is incredibly effective on soup.

Works well.

I wanted an immersion blender that was just one piece because the attaching point always seems to be what breaks. This is exactly what I wanted. Seems well made and solid. It has plenty of power but it doesn’t blow me away with the power level.

Impressive

I bought this blender about a month ago and have used it quite a few times. Every time I have used it, it has never failed to impress. That machine effortlessly purees sauces and salad dressings. Just now made homemade mayonnaise lickety split, another victory in the corporate PUFA oil war!!! (Never going to buy Hellmans canola oil again). Its smooth and quiet action belies what a powerful motor it has. The open teeth on the blender (as opposed to those holes that catch and clog with fresh ingredients like herbs and garlic) were a big selling point. It is easy to clean - run under hot water and perhaps a spray - hooray stainless steel. The unit is pricey, but worth it. Hopefully this unit and I can be friends for many years to come. I love this machine so much that I felt compelled to write a review and share how much I am impressed with this.

Too big for Mason jar. Otherwise, OK.

I bought this, in large part, because one of the Amazon answers, to a customer's question, said it would fit the mouth of a Mason jar. That proved to be false. The blade guard is too large in diameter for any Mason jar or drinking glass. But I might keep it instead of returning it, regardless, because where else are you going to find an NSF certified handheld immersion mixer for this price? You won't. And NSF certification is important to me because it is my best assurance that an appliance is professional and good enough for commercial use, which means it should last a lifetime if you buy it for use at home.

Not enough power

Not actually dishwasher safe at all

The specs will tell you that the shaft is dishwasher safe. Which it is. But the shaft is not removable so it’s a completely useless thing to advertise since you can’t put the whole unit in the dishwasher.

Worst experience ever

I tried reaching out to Amazon and the Manufacturer for product support numerous times but no help at all. The machine only worked for 6 months and broke . The manufacturer is not helping at all to fix it. Also bought extra insurance from Amazon and they are not helping as well.
