Came scratched in damaged box.
Didn’t care for this product. It was cheap and will do in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Nice set of 2 shelves
These are light weight and color is nice although they can scratch easy if not careful handling them. Rails are easily removed and I spray painted silver to match decor. Hanging was a chore. Uses picture frame hooks and screws but it was supplied. Overall I like the look. Used above toilet and wanted rails for security. Also thickness of shelves is not too thick and not flimsy.

I don’t know .
The media could not be loaded. I love how sleek and modern it looks however the metal rack mines came in and wasn’t even the others were though, not solid and even though it’s light it still hangs a bit I’m going to have to put something to keep it floating properly .

Minimalistic floating shelf that could use a bit of design improvements
I wanted a floating shelf because I generally like the look of it without any hardware sticking out. More importantly, wanted something to put my soft drink on while I'm trying to unlock my door cause I'm fishing through my pockets for my keys with my other hand. This looked nice based on the description and installing it is fairly simple but there are a few quirks to make it look a bit better. Just keep in mind that you should have the following to make installation easier: a measuring tape, drill with 9/64 or 5/32 drill bit, screwdriver, 75lb drywall anchors (optional if you opt to use included drywall anchors), stud finder (if you want to install it on your studs instead which should make it sturdier and less wobble), and painters tape. Summary: I'm a bit mixed on these, they look nice from a distance but up close, they're a bit of a mess. I'm giving this 3/5 and only recommending this for people that just want floating shelves that don't take too long to install. You may opt to replace these later with other shelves if your budget allows for it. Pros: + relatively cheap for floating shelves + easy-ish to install as long as you have the recommended tools + the railing can be removed if you want a clean wood block look but you'll need to fill in the two holes + comes with a bubble level (but it's a bit limited and you should use your own if you have one) Cons: - the paint is absolutely terrible and it seems like it was done in a rush, doesn't even look like wood grain - getting it flush with the wall will be hard unless you leave only 1/8in for the screw, leaving 1/4in is too much and will cause the shelf to droop down at an angle - the wood sounds hollow, like MDF or a honeycomb cardboard - the template is not great and they should've left holes in the markings so that it'll be easier to fill in with a pencil - the drywall anchors don't mention their weight rating, only the shelf which is laughably only 7lbs. I used 75lbs drywall anchors for a home improvement store and re-used the stock screws that came with the shelves.

Nice modern looking floating shelves with a few issues
Starting with the positives, these shelves do look very nice once you get them hung in your home. They have a very slick, modern look. Value wise these are good, compared to other similar shelves that I've seen these cost quite a bit less. The build quality of these is far from perfect. The shelf surfaces have many imperfections, they look like they were touched up with some sort of paint from inferior manufacturing. You can see quite a few dark splotches around the shelves. One of the 2 I received one quite a bit worse than the other. Imperfections aside, once I got them hung on the wall the issues aren't too noticeable, especially once you have few things on the the shelves. A few notes and tips on how to hang these shelves: The included template is a nice thing to use. I'd recommend cutting it to the exact size of the shelf following the outline. Then tape the template to your wall. After that, very carefully use a level that is at least as wide as the shelf to level out the 2 screws that hang the shelf. They do include a level, but it's so small its not very functional for this purpose. They hang on recessed keyhole type hangers on the back of the shelves in order to hide the hanging hardware. This works ok, but it's difficult to get the shelf to fit 100% flush onto the wall. It's best to slowly put the screw in the wall, hang the shelf, see how it fits, if its too far from the wall screw the screws in a tiny bit farther and re-hang the shelf. This takes some time but is the best way to get it seated as close to flush to the wall as possible.

Decent looking floating shelves for light items in the right spot.
These MELANNCO Floating Railing Shelves look good from a reasonable distance, but they don't look quite as nice upon close inspection. The quality is a little better than just "so-so" but not quite what I was thinking it would be. That said, most people don't stand around inspecting decent-looking shelving over the things they are holding/displaying, so they do the job and aren't bad. Just don't expect them to look high end or wow anyone. I like the rail on these, and they're good for making sure light items don't slide off too easily. It's nice for picture displays and little items/knick-knacks that might have a tendency to take a tumble now and then off of them. The gray wood on this matches my "rustic farmhouse" look in many areas of my house pretty well, although I had to keep them away from another set of similar-looking floating shelves, because the others looked a little more realistic and made these look more cheesy. Once I stuck them in a different area, however, they look fine. I am using these for a couple of pictures and little artworks my special needs son makes, and it is perfect for displaying those in that manner. They're not really sturdy enough to shove heavier items on, and you have to take care to install them correctly to ensure they are stable. Aside from those limitations, they're not bad floating shelves, depending on where you place them. YMMV.
