Le bois de châtaignier, naturellement résistant aux intempéries, est séché, scellé et teint avec une luxueuse couleur noyer et recouvert d'une couche protectrice transparente, pour améliorer encore son utilisation. These are truly French bistro chairs

After a year of comparing different "French" bistro chairs. We decided to take the plunge and purchase 4 of these chairs. I can say without a doubt that these are the real deal. We were in Paris and Bordeaux France this past summer and during my time there I was able to sit at many different style Cafe chairs. These chairs are the exact same as I sat in France. There were 2 popular styles of Bistro chairs a rattan and these. I found that these folding chairs were the best suited to our lifestyle. They are not as clunky as the rattan style and they are so much easier to store away if needed. They are very comfortable and allow you to use a cushion if you feel you need it. I personally do not. Durability is excellent and the style looks great. It does add a "wow" factor for when you have guest. We wanted these because these are what we sat in France and now that we have them, it brings France to our home. Cost is worth it. Another HUGE bonus is if a slat/board is damaged, you can buy replacement parts. I didn't know that this was possible with chair manufactures. This gave us that safe feeling, ensuring that there was an easy solution if any chair was damaged. I LOVE the fact that I can call the company up and purchase replacement parts. One drop, scratch, or break on most furniture you would be out of luck. Not with these. You can replace slats instead of the whole chair!! If you damage the Rattan or any other, you have to replace the chair. The best part of all, the company stands by their product. Customer service is outstanding. They make you feel like you are their most important customer. I called for something simple and they gave me their full attention. We are very frugal and for all the reasons I mentioned above, I highly recommend these chairs and Furniture Design House If you are looking for high quality product, looks nice, practical, and have unbelievable customer service then buy from Furniture Design House. Really beautiful, high quality - great buy!

I don't write product reviews. I do read them before I buy anything on Amazon. These chairs didn't have many reviews, so I was a little nervous. There is no reason to be nervous - these chairs are great. So great I wanted to write a five star review. We purchased them for our covered porch. We needed something sleek around a small cafe table we already owned. We wanted comfortable yet portable and storable. These are great. The design is wonderful, down to the padding on the feet. They are sturdy and stylish. Plus, we had guests over the weekend and needed to fit four boys and four parents around our breakfast table with one leaf. These were way better than lugging around our fancy dining room chairs and feeling cramped.

Great looking, quality built chairs

I ordered a set of these chairs 4 years ago and they have held up extremely well so I decided to purchase another set. These chairs are attractive, well-made and built to last. Quality finish. Although not inexpensive, the workmanship justifies the higher price tag. I would recommend these if you are looking for an authentic, European made bistro chair.

Beautiful, high quality bistro set.

This comfortable set is quite lovely, and we get many compliments. The finishes on the metal frames and the wooden slats are smooth and durable. We bought the 28" table, too. While the set is slightly on the expensive side for a bistro set, it is money well-spent.

Received Two Green Metal Slatted Chairs Instead of Wood

I received two metal painted green chairs instead of the wooden ones. I had gotten these wood slatted ones earlier and liked them though - that's why I reordered two more. Unfortunately, I opened them, we needed them, so now I have green metal ones instead. . . I might try again . . .
