Love The Spout, Almost Had A Disaster

I ordered the used spout to save money. It arrived quickly and was in excellent condition with one exception -- the set screw was missing. Luckily, I'd saved the old spout and the screw was the right size. Other than that, I like the length (no more water splashing on the rim or overflow of my garden tub) and how it looks on my tub. It was well worth the upgrade from the dinky spout installed by my home builder.

Excellent nozzle

The price was fair. After reading a review that your pipe needed to be 4 inches length for this nozzle to fit I was apprehensive. I took a chance with my skill knowledge being my pipe length was barely 3 and a half. This nozzle fits just fine and looks great. It has a set screw under the nozzle to tighten to your pipe, but don’t over do it. The Crome finish is of excellent quality and all metal, not plastic. A happy purchase.

Great Product, but Shipped to me "Used"

When I pulled the tub spout out of the box, there were greasy hand prints all over it. After a considerable amount of alcohol and Windex, I was final.y able to get the spout clean. Then when I tried to install it, I found out where the greasy prints came from -- a greasy O-ring inside the spout. Someone had tried to install the spout previously, but they somehow pushed the rubber O-ring out of its groove. So, the copper pipe coming out of the wall could not be inserted into the tub spout. Again, after considerable fiddling with some long skinny tools, I was able to get the O-ring back into its groove. I really wish people would simply tell the vendor what went wrong before returning the products, so people like me wouldn't have to suffer. I hate inconsiderate and stupid people -- they make life hard sometimes.

Worth it, cheap fix.

I fail a home inspection cause apparently my spout was too small n allow water to splash on to my overfill, this one was long enough that water no longer splash onto it, I did have to cut in about half the nylon bushing it came with so I can make it fit, my original one was not a slip on or this would of been even easier to install. Bought it from the used return and worth the $10 for sure.

Excited to use the product but was sent the wrong one

Was sent a Used Chrome version. Looks very Solid and i like how it is longer than most tub spouts. Looking forward to getting the correct finish and installing.

No steady flow

I don't know why I thought this was a good deal. It's a Moen product but came in a plain white box without Moen label. The water splatters all over when it comes out of the spout. It soaks the silicone at the head of the tub behind the spout. For $12 guess I got what I paid for.
