Rings were off set

Rings were off set on the rod. We caught trout on this rod and reel set. Would have given more stars if a little bit more quality was given.

The rod came a little bit bent and the real is not fastened very well.

Right when I pulled the rod out of the box it came with the line very tight and bent. And the rod was also bent to the side so now the rod is permanently bent to the side and it will stay like that. Otherwise it is a good rod

Nice little rod.

As with most rod/reel combos the line on the reel is not very good. I expected that and replaced it before I went fishing the first time. Love the rod. It is a lot of fun ice fishing with it.

Great for occasional use

Needed to find an ice fishing combo. This was great in a pinch but I would not suggest it to anyone who will ice fish on a regular basis. You will need to re-spool the the line and find a better way to attach the reel to the rod as the rubberbands slip off. Unit works good for someone who will ice fish once a year.
