Bottom line it works for me but it's not perfect

I tried to find a thorough review of this product before purchasing and I really didn't find much so I'm going to attempt to write the review I would have liked to see before purchasing. If you're looking for the short version I was looking for a quick and easy product for every day use that would make my beard more manageable and this besides some minor problems does fit the bill. With that said onto the slightly longer review. My main question about this product before buying really was very simple "What the hell is it?" Well now after using it for a few days I can tell you it's a viscous liquid that as one person put "is Reuzels attempt at making a water based beard oil" I would more say it's their attempt at making a water based more convenient balm though. The products hold I would best describe as light. It's not going to do a ton in the way of styling like a wax or heavier balm would but it does keep your hairs separated and does have some hold. They recommend using it in conjunction with their balm but to me that would defeat the purpose of convenience I wanted a product that even if I was running late for work I could grab slap on and be good to go with little to no thought. The product comes out in a semi light half foam it's not nearly as light as foaming hand soap and it's not as heavy as a mousse. It's slightly sticky to the touch and goes on kind of white but quickly becomes absorbed into the skin and is clear. My next question about this product before buying it was "what does it smell like?" Well that's one of the cons of this product as far as I'm concerned though it is minor. It smells like what my grandma use to smell like. I understand nobody reading this has ever smelled my grandmother so the next closest thing it smells like that you may have been around is a laundromat. They are correct that that does smell "clean" but it's not exactly a smell I associate with being very pleasant. One reviewer said they thought it smelled of patchouli it absolutely does not it smells of cheap fabric softener. Third and most important question was the obvious does it work? It does work for what I wanted to use it for. It's very quick to apply, it does soften your beard, I like the idea of a pump action bottle as opposed to trying to dab out oil or get balm under my nails or properly dose out the proper amount when I'm in a hurry. It also isn't heavy like an oil or balm it's very light and absorbs fast. If you need extra hold I do recommend using a balm with it or a wax but this does have some hold and it keeps your hairs separated as opposed to pushed together making it easier to comb or brush out later in the day if you need to. The last thing I'd like to touch on is I do have semi sensitive skin and this product thus far does appear to irritate my skin a bit at first; I will edit my review later if it gets worse. I believe looking at the ingredients this is most likely a sensitivity to the fragrance coupled with the fact I'm not a fan of the scent I wish they would make a completely non scented version of this and I would consider this a 5 star product. It may also be the witch hazel slightly drying out my skin though. Again I'll update this review later should this problem worsen but I consider this minor at the moment and otherwise this is a solid product I would buy again.

Best conditioner I've found

This is the best beard conditioner I've used so far, and I've tried plenty. It's like a foam or mousse, and it spreads far. My beard isn't super long, but full, and I still only have to use one little pump. Doesn't smell bad, doesn't smell good, necessarily. Not much of an odor to it. Actually works to soften and smooth your beard. I think I've found the one to stick with.

Moisturizes, but the unscented version smells like a urinal cake

Couldn’t place it for the longest time, but then it hit me. This smells like the urinal cake in a mens bathroom! The product itself seems to work, it moisturizes and goes on easy, not oily, etc. but effectiveness is hard to gauge because I have to put on another conditioning product to mask the smell. I like Reuzel products but this was their first miss, for me.

Produit cosmétique intéressant, sauf que… ????????‍♂️

J’ai utilisé cette mousse à barbe pendant plus de 6 mois, et dans la pratique elle s’avère agréable à utiliser. Pourtant je ne le recommande pas, et voici pourquoi : ✅ PRENDS SOIN DE LA BARBE Avant de parler des choses qui fâchent, il faut tout de même reconnaitre qu’il s’agit là d’un excellent produit pour entretenir sa barbe. Pour avoir fait le test avec et sans, le résultat est sans appel : cette mousse rend le poil souple et la couleur vive. Couplée au baume à barbe reuzel, l’association des deux est parfaite pour l’entretien des barbes longues et semi-longues. Cette mousse permet faire pénétrer bien plus efficacement les produits de soins. Le touché de votre barbe est ainsi moins “gras” après avoir appliqué un baume ou une huile. ✅ L’ODEUR L’effluve de cette mousse est subtil, mais reste pour autant marqué. Le parfum qui s’en dégage est masculin et légèrement sucré. Une odeur qui permet d’accompagner n’importe quel parfum tout en donnant une touche d’élégance à la barbe. ✅ PRATIQUE Cette mousse pénètre presque instantanément. Au quotidien c’est un avantage très appréciable puisque cela fait gagner un temps précieux. Mais justement, tout cela à quel prix ? Ce que je n’aime pas de ce produit et les raisons pour lesquels j’ai décidé d’arrêter son utilisation. ???? LES INGRÉDIENTS En cosmétique, comme dans l’alimentation, une liste longue comme le bras d’ingrédients n’est jamais bon signe… Cet adage se confirme ici avec la présence de polysorbate 20, pegmatites-12 dimethicone, ou encore de cetrimonium chloride. Vous ne savez pas ce que c’est ? Moi non plus ! En revanche une application qui évalue la qualité des cosmétiques, m’indique que ces composants ne sont vraiment “pas terribles”. Plutôt que de guérir, je préfère prévenir, en sanctionnant le fabricant. En connaissance de cause, à vous maintenant de voir en tant que consommateur-acteur, où vous souhaitez placer votre curseur... —————- Pour conclure, c’est donc un produit qui s’avère à l’usage très appréciable pour l’entretien de la barbe. À privilégier plutôt pour les barbes d’une certaine longueur tout de même. En revanche, du fait d’ingrédients loin d’être naturel, je ne peux que déconseiller l’usage d’un tel produit. —- Si vous avez trouvé mon avis [ Utile ] , faites-le-moi savoir en bas de ce commentaire. ????

Bit tacky when used

Not bad smells nice but can be a bit tacky I had hoped it would rub in but you need to be near water or wipes as it’s very sticky after you have applied it and the hands need a good clean after

How did I not know about this before?

I am absolutely amazed by this product! It makes my beard so much softer and easier to handle - it's unreal. I've tried many things to control my unruly beard but this is by far the best I've come across. The only issue I have with it is the smell. I'm not.hr biggest fan of it
