This model has so many different attachments, many you likely won't use, but I can't imagine many people needing something that this doesn't have, it really covers all the bases. Changing the heads (or whatever they're called) is so easy, they just pop right out and snap back in. They're just as easy to change as the length snap on attachments. It's all waterproof and I leave mine in the shower more often than not, taking it out only to charge it. Battery has never gotten low, let alone ran out. I sometimes run it for over an hour straight and it's never slowed down. This specific model/variant included an attachment with a sliding variable adjustable height and it's a really nice convenience. I have found it to be very useful, making the regular attachments mere backups, as I never use any sizes outside of this one's variable heights. If you only use measurements falling in its zone, you never need to take it off. A really great addition. This also included a sensetive area safety buzzer attachment which snaps on the entire head of the unit. It's excellent in its purpose for use in sensetive areas. Many, many times with my older unit I had huge nicks and cuts from not doing it just right with the regular small buzzer. With this attachment you can go wild and it won't cut you at all. It has a plastic part to help with safety that is removable, but I haven't tried without it. I love it that I don't have to worry about getting huge nicks or gouges. This attachment does cut slower and you have to be more thorough, as you will need to go over areas more than one pass, but it's a very fair trade and there is no negative consequence. I love the specific body grooming attachments (dark green 3mm and 5mm) so you have different attachments for your body and face/head. The green ones are for body areas but identical to their grey counterparts. These green ones, alone with the aforementioned sensetive trimmer will take care of all body hair. I've had an older model of this, that is identical for all intents and purposes, the design of the handle is slightly different but that is where the changes stop. I merely wanted a second one and I was curious about the newer attachments, which I LOVE. Everything, including the battery are working great on the first. These things are great. You won't regret this model, it has an attachment for everything and truly does it all. It's a great gift idea for any guy that doesn't have a decent solution for what this thing does. One con between this newer model and the older one I have. I noticed it won't run while plugged in, while my older one does. This isn't likely to be an issue that comes up often, or maybe ever, but if you did manage to run the battery out you wouldn't be able to use it on the spot by plugging it in. The battery life is great, yet sometimes things happen and if you needed this in a pinch with a dead battery the cord wouldn't be helpful, while the older models (on every electric razer I've ever seen) always supported this feature, allowing you to use them even when the battery was completely unable to hold a charge. Pretty lame, knowing that this was certainly intentional, for some reason.

First, this is definitely a well made trimmer, no question. And it has lots of hand features that you'll definitely use, like the gadget to trim nose hairs and such. Where I question the feature choice is in the beard-length heads and the hair length heads; they're all for extremely short trims, with few guides for longer lengths. If you want your beard at 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 or 7 mm, you're good to go; to me, that's way too short. I usually keep mine at around 1/2", so the closest I can get is the 12mm guide that's for hair length. Really??? Then for hair, there's only one longer, a 16mm. And I'm an old fart that's lived with buzz cuts most of my life ... but c'mon, this is just a bit TOO short!!! Longer options, eh guys??? That said, so long as I stick to the longest couple of blade guides, I can make it work; the rest is just extraneous garbage wasted on me. But like I said, what it has that I can use, works well. Charging time was fast, and lasted plenty long to give myself a good beard trim (even if it was too short the first time), hair cut, and even trimmed nose and ear hair. Still had plenty of power left over when I was done ... dogs were around, was tempted to give them a once-over, but figured the groomer would charge extra the next time to fix my handiwork... ANYway ... Base unit, awesome. Just figure out IF the attachments are what you really need or not; there might be a different model that works better for you. Oh yeah, BTW -- the case is VERY well built!!! Just sayin' ....

Excellent beard, nose, ear, body, and sideburns trimmer
This is a great (almost) all-in-one trimmer that replaces three different trimmers I had previously: one for a stubble or beard, one for nose and ear, and a third for (light) body hair. This trimmer is really not good for head hair as the longest trim length is 16mm. I like the convenience, especially while traveling, of carrying just one trimmer. The biggest con for me is having to change trim several trim heads on a regular basis. More below: PROS: + Almost all-in-one as advertised: face, nose, ear, and body. Not good for head hair but I dare not touch my head hair anyway and leave that to my barber. + Comfortable on the family jewels. I previously used to have a separate trimmer just for that purpose but the body trimmer head attachment on this one does the job equally well. + Cuts well: The blade and plastic attachments have very little curvature and projections to them unlike other trimmers I have used previously. In trimmers with big plastic projections, it is frustrating to shave the mustache because the plastic teeth want to get into your nostrils; and shaving the neck just feels funny you never feel sure if it is actually cutting hair or not. This trimmer has a sleeker surface even with the plastic attachments and doesn't have those problems. + Feels sturdy and nice to hold. + Long battery life means that you don't have to carry a charger while traveling (although I am paranoid that the button will accidentally get pressed and cause the battery to drain out, so I will probably carry one anyway). + Washable tip means it feel less icky. + The sideburn attachments are sweet. I am not sure if my previous trimmer had them and I just never realized it did and/or lost them, but I tried the ones that came with this one and they worked well. + Precision trimmer and precision shaver might be an added plus although I don't see myself using them much. CONS: - Changing attachments: The biggest con for me is having to change attachments regularly. I generally use the body trimmer for a few seconds every day or every other day, so having to change attachments on this one is added work that I did not have to do with my previous beard trimmer and a separate $20 body trimmer (with a AA battery that lasts for months). I suppose I could still continue using the separate body trimmer given that I have it anyway but that defeats this trimmer's all-in-one-ness. I really really liked my previous beard trimmer's ease of turning a knob to adjust the trim length (although granted that I rarely change my beard trim length, so not having adjustable trim lengths is a minor con). - Durability: Related to changing attachments, I am afraid of breaking some of the plastic with frequent attachment and removal of heads. They do come off fairly easily once you get the hang but they still make a tight clickety click that makes me think it can't last for 10 years; not sure if wear and tear is covered by the warranty. - Trim granularity: The granularity of beard trims is 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 7mm, so if you need lengths in between, you are stuck. I would have liked 0.5mm progressions between 1mm to 3mm like in my previous trimmer. - Plastic jungle: Too many attachments most of which I (and probably most people) won't use at all. These attachments are all stuffed in a plastic elastic netting, so if you do use several different attachments regularly, good luck finding what you want. Most people are probably paying for plastic they'll never use, not to mention the environment-unfriendliness. - Can't use while charging, but this is a small con as it charges quickly in ~5 minutes to have enough charge for a single use. - Not waterproof, so I am paranoid of dropping it into the pot or something. - Slippery smooth: The trimmer's metal surface is smooth and doesn't have a grip except at the very top, so I am afraid of dropping it. The warranty does not cover damage due to negligence. - No vacuum to catch falling hair. A minor con because no vacuum on any trimmer I have owned has actually worked well as I can always see hair on the wash. Moreover a vacuum means that shaking the trimmer for an reason scatters hair (including while unplugging it because the double barrel adapter needs to be pulled with force creating a jerky shake). - Need a smaller travel pouch.The case is bigger than the combined volume of my previous three separate trimmers respectively for the beard, body and nose/ear plus a single charger, so I probably won't carry the case while traveling. This is a minor con because I can stuff this trimmer with a single beard attachment, the nose/ear head, and the body trim head into my travel toiletries bag and the combined volume is a bit less than what I used to have to stuff in it previously. EDIT: One thing I realized is that if you prefer a trim length in between the trim comb lengths, you can file the longer comb with a nail filer or sand paper. I had to do this because the combs marked 1mm and 2mm are actually at least 2mm apart in length and the 1mm comb was too short for my preferred stubble length and the comb marked 2mm was too long (more like 3.5mm). Of course this filing technique is not useful if the longest comb isn't long enough for you.

Excellent product
This is a genuine product and I checked it online on philips website. The delivery was delayed and it’s due to the import process. If you have the budget then you go ahead and buy it. It surpassed my expectations and the best part I can trim and keep a perfect stubble look. For those who are still skeptic about price then do consider import taxes and hassle free shopping by ordering direct from Amazon.

tengo varias recortadoras y esta es genial, lo unico que le reprocho es que no corta tan al ras y esto es obvio para eso utilizo la philips one blade. pero trae demasiados accesorios para que busques tu mejor look, lo que si es muy superior es el recortador para cuerpo que trae su proteccion para no cortar la piel a comparacion de la guarda de philips one blade es mas sencillo de usar y rapido para rasurar los kiwis, ya que la guarda de philips one blade es muy grande y tosca y llega a cortar en piel muy delgada y la de esta philips norelco no

Very High Quality Product - Enormous and Efficient Battery
This is a very high-quality product. Once I charge it fully, I don't need to charge it again for several months. The specifications say that it has 6 hours running time, but we never need to run it for 6 hours at a time. My entire body hair removal is done in 45-55 mins, and it keeps running for several such sessions. Very high-quality construction. It feels so solid in the hand. It has all types of blades and attachments - for body hair, beard styles, nose trimmer and sensitive areas. Very happy with this product.

Je suis un amateur des tondeuses (Philips) depuis des années parce qu'elles sont les seules tondeuses à ne pas avoir besoin de lubrifiant pour fonctionner (je déteste l'odeur du lubrifiant à tondeuse!!!) Cette merveille est ma dernière, depuis que je l'ai reçu (11 mois) je l'ai chargé "imaginez vous" juste UNE fois et elle fonctionne toujours!! elle est solide, costaude un petit peu lourde mais juste de la valeur. Tout les 2 semaines je coupe mes cheveux trop court (coupe militaire) elle est parfaite pour ça pas d'ajustements à faire à la main comme les autres models, elle est munie de plusieurs sabots qu'on change selon la longueur voulue...elle bourdonne comme une abeille et elle dévore les cheveux comme une ogresse avec une précision chirurgicale. Quand je l'ai eu j'ai remarqué qu'elle n'est pas dotée d'une vitesse "Turbo" (comme ma Philips antécédante) alors j'étais inquiet qu'elle ne sera pas assez puissante mais en vain...elle n'a pas une vitesse Turbo tout simplement parce qu'elle fonctionne toujours en mode Turbo. Bref...puissante, pratique, élégante, polyvalente, silencieuse, facile à nettoyer à sec ou à l'eau avec une durée de fonctionnement incroyable!!! Vous allez penser que j'ai intérêt à faire son éloge mais non je suis juste un consommateur comblé de son achat.

I have had this exact same groomer in California, but when I came back to Canada I bought the same exact one, but for some reason this one felt like it was open (not used) and the box was broken and the black part of the groomer felt of a very cheap rubber. Other than the issue mentioned above, the groomer works very well and gives you everything to take care of every hair situation on your body.
