Must have for highlighted hair!

I have blonde highlights and my hair always pulls warm. This is a terrific line. It is vegan and not tested on animals. Doesn't stain your skin nor nails. Really subdues any brass. Super soft and smells great. SUCH an excellent price point. If you have really light highlights or gray, you may get the ashy violet tone. I love this line. Prolongs my highlights!

Smells like hair color product

I think this has helped reduce the brassiness of my hair color, but the smell is pretty strong and reminds me of hair coloring products, perhaps because it has a little inside for toning. The pump on the bottle is really strong and feels professional. You get a TON of product for the price. I usually need 3-4 pumps for my hair, which is just past shoulder-length.

Great Value! Light Conditioning And Light Toning Purple Conditioner

You get a lot of purple conditioner for your money with this Now Beauty nourishing no yellow conditioner. It moisturizes as well as normal conditioner. It's on the light side. It rinses easily and won't weigh down hair. My hair does feel smoother and softer after use. But I'll still need a heavier mask for deep moisturization. The color of the conditioner is purple. And it does tone my lighter strands. Slightly tones my level 8 strands to a less yellow/warm color. Tones 9/10 strands to near white. It whitens and brightens my white/greys and removes discoloration. It's not strong or pigmented enough to do anything for strands darker than 8/7. I usually use Pravana which is highly pigmented, but expensive. I definitely wouldn't mind rotating this one in on days I'm not using Pravana. I also tried mixing some of my Pravana with this and that worked well, too. If you have really light or white hair, you can just use this product. If you need something stronger, try mixing to stretch your more expensive products or use it on days you're not using your expensive products.

Great pigment

I use this on the days I don’t wash my hair with purple or blue shampoo. Purple shampoo tends to dry my hair so I use it only when I think I need to brighten some of my level 9-10 blonde highlights in my dyed fake bronde colored hair. I’ll use this purple pigmented conditioner with a color safe sulfate free shampoo. Like I mentioned I have bronde hair with more brown than blonde. So the results are much more subtle. The conditioner will whiten the level 10 strands to white. It does nothing to my brown hair. I think if your hair is level 9-10, you’ll be happy with this. The scent is similar to stepping into a salon. It smells good but you can tell there’s some chemicals lingering in the background. The fragrance isn’t strong. It’s scent is powdery, floral and fruity. It smells like a mix of everything- like a salon. I don’t know how to better describe it.

You Get a Lot

This is a huge 32oz (quarter gallon) container filled with conditioner. It has a push down pump that pushes out a rather generous portion. I only need a fraction of a press, maybe a kidney bean size blob. The conditioner is purple and has pretty normal consistency. It’s basically what you would expect the conditioner to feel like. It works well. I’ve grown out my hair over the past two years and this does a good job of making sure I don’t pull my hair out when I brush after I take my shower. My only complaint is that it has strong scent. It smells like laundry detergent and is quite strong, especially in the confines of a shower. I only use conditioner on my long hair once a week and I guess I can put up with the scent. This should last me at least a year and is very reasonably priced considering how much you get.
