I have had my eye on the butterfly pillow that has popped up on advertisements. I could be wrong, but I believe that is the original pillow of this kind. However, I do not like ordering through Instagram or Facebook shops. To start I absolutely hate the floral pattern on this. I have a son and really wanted a gray and blue version which this company does not seem to offer. There should be a color pattern more suited for boys available. However, I am in desperate need of a decent nursing pillow to save my back and wrist so I gave it a shot anyway. The item is much smaller than expected. It does not look like it does in the pictures on the listing (which other reviewers have also mentioned). Likewise, as others have mentioned, I do find it itchy and not soft. Because of both of these reasons I am most likely returning it and will try the breast friend pillow. Already have the boppy and am not a fan. The boppy moves too much will nursing and the baby falls into the space in front of you. I will say the idea of the ability to add/remove the pillows to adjust the height of the baby’s head is awesome. More companies should have pillows with this feature.

I really wanted to love it

I really wanted to love it. I wish it could turn into an L shape more since I have to do certain positions based on my baby’s latch. Thinking I need to go with my breast friend instead

Interesting concept but not practical

The pillow is firm and nice quality but made it awkward for me to position baby. Since you can adjust the pillow height, the babies body doesn’t align and there’s a big jump between their head and the rest of the body. It also doesn’t stay in place when feeding.

Love the product, but it has flaws

I love the concept of this product. They just need to make some adjustments. It needs to hug your body better. Also it needs to be wider.

Convenient pillow to breastfeed AND bottle feed

I have 2 pillows :my brest friend and this one. I really enjoy the different levels that this pillow provides. It's the best to bottle feed but it takes more adjustment to breastfeed with it. My main thing is : turn the butterfly towards you, make sure you rest the round part in the middle of your legs, and I don't really use the last level because it puts the baby too high. Ohh and it's SUPER easy to wash and the pillows stay cushiony ! It's not super ideal for your back but honestly neither is my brest friend or the boppy for me.. Overall, I would recommend it !

The best breastfeeding pillow so far!!!

I have the boppy and the breast friend and this pillow is the best - I returned the breast friend after getting this one. The only thing I dislike about it is that it does attract pet hair horribly and when o washed it it almost made it worse. The material is like a magnet for pet hair. I have to always cover it with a blanket.

Great for tall women

I absolutely love this pillow! I'm getting ready to deliver baby number 5 and I used this one for my fourth with no problems. For my first three I used a boppy or regular pillows, but the boppy kept pushing away from me, and it didn't sit high enough so I had to prop it up with another pillow. That kinda defeated the purpose so I just used pillows from there on out. Regular pillows didn't really make me feel safe so I looked for other options and found this one. Pros -Works for tall moms -doesn't slip like boppy does -easy to clean as it just goes in the washer then the dryer -no cover to worry about -fits small babies and large -it's wide, so baby won't slide off the pillow -easy to fold, tie and take along -Works for moms that have extra weight, as others tend to pop off Cons -I've seen some reviews about the fabric being rough, I didn't have a problem with it but obviously it bothers some. -it attracks dog/cat hair like crazy but it does wash nicely I would recommend this product and will use it again for my next baby.

Pros and Cons

I have only been using this for a few weeks so I’m not sure how well it will work as baby grows. I plan of breastfeeding for a year so hopefully it supports baby as he grows. I had a u-shaped pillow with my first and bought this for my second to help save my back as the u-shaped pillow wasn’t tall enough. I don’t think there is any perfect breastfeeding pillow but so far I don’t regret getting this instead of the u-shaped pillow. Pros: 1. can adjust height 2. Taller than u-shaped pillow so I don’t have to slouch for baby to reach by breast. 3. Baby can feed at an angle to help reduce reflux. 4. Firm, the u-shaped pillow sagged in the middle. Cons: 1. Hard to use with postpartum belly. I Couldn’t get it close enough and ended up resting baby on my belly until it shrank. Also presses on c-section area, didn’t use much until pain and belly decreased. 2. Switching sides can be cumbersome, if using when one side is elevated. 3. Hard to use while doing football hold unless you’re sitting on a bed or big couch. 4. One trick pony, can’t be used for tummy time or anything else that I have found. 5. No cover but wipes off easily enough.

Very useful, albeit a little expensive

Decent quality, feels very sturdy, but I would still say it’s slightly expensive for what it is (I paid £34). Pattern is beautiful and I think it’ll become a very useful general pillow/soft toy after breastfeeding is done. I don’t find it super useful for cradle hold, but it’s great for rugby hold, and because I’m not cuddling him warm against me, I find my little chap stays awake better whilst feeding, and so gets a good feed easily.

Can’t get it close enough due to design

Haven’t used this at all. Awkward shape with the middle part sticking out so can’t get it close enough to body or wedged under baby close enough.

Sehr gutes und praktisches Stillkissen

Die Auflagefläche ist relativ "hart", was ich persönlich super finde, da dieses gefuddels mit den Perlen von anderen Stillkissen mir immer den letzten Nerv geraubt habt, bis das Kind dann endlich bequem lag. Das ist hier kein Thema mehr, auch benötigt man kein zusätzliches Kissen mehr. Höhe einstellen zur Brust das kind einfach drauf legen und fertig. Bei starkem milchspendereflex kann man die Höhe des Kopfes entsprechend anpassen. Leider ziemlich sperrig und jetzt nichts für unterwegs, aber mit ins Auto kann man es nehmen, dort ist damit stillen auch kein Problem. Für Neugeborene zu stillen klare Kaufempfehlung. Probiert es aus!

Meine Rettung

4 Wochen nach der Geburt musste mein Blinddarm raus. AUA, beim stillen der Horror. Dieses Kissen hat es mir dann wirklich einfacher gemacht. Jetzt ist die kleine 4 Monate und ich brauch es nicht mehr. Bei Rückenleiden oder ä. aber zu empfehlen.

Horrible customer service/ impractical pillow

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! This product is not good at all , it looks Comfy on the pics but in reality it doesn’t work at all, you have to hold the pillow while holding your baby to make sure it won’t fly away from you ! So impractical!!! Plus I tried returning it and they won’t cover the cost of shipping so from Canada I had to pay $125 to ship it back for $100 item! Their customer service is horrible ! I would recommend you saving yourself from the hassle of dealing with these people.
