Perfect!

Ok. I got a little grief for buying nautical-themed drinking straws. It was hinted that I may even have a "boat stuff" problem. But once the greif-giver handled these straws all was forgiven. They're remarkably well constructed; I know it's a paper straw, but they verge on elegant. I highly recommend these for any floating happy hour you may have.

Disappointing straws

Very disappointed in these straws. They are very thick. They are pretty. When you suck air at the top, sometimes (too often) air comes in from somewhere on the sides of the straws so that it is harder to draw the liquid up. I was hoping for the paper straws we used as kids in the late 50s and 60's before plastic straws were invented. I was looking for a way to reduce plastic waste. I haven't found them yet.
