Essential for Important Printing!
with letterhead, everything else coming from the printer, to make your Important letters, documents stand out, 32lb Bond is the best solution. 20lb is ok for every day use, 32lb shouts "Read Me!" It's an additional edge that costs pennies more a sheet.

Happy using it for self-published book of poetry and watercolor paintings (Canon ink-jet printer)
The paper is just about the right thickness so that 34 pages or so (full letter-sized pages cut in half) make a handy little perfect-bound (i.e., glued, not sewn) book with a spine around 7.5 mm across (before attaching cover). It takes the ink nicely for both text and watercolors (printed at high resolution), although of course, the pictures are not as vivid as they would be when using glossy photo paper. The only thing to be careful about is that water, or too wet a glue, can cause ripples, so I presume that this paper would probably be too soft and absorbent to actually paint on using watercolors. But for the little books I am making, a night under a few heavy tomes fixes everything. Most users are probably just going to use it for printing letters, which should work out well. It is a high-quality paper with a watermark visible on every page if held up to a light. That is a useful fact if you should ever get confused about whether a page is your ordinary white printer paper or this very slightly heavier one.

The Absolute Best Paper I Have Ever Purchased!!
Recently, I made a life-changing career decision, by deciding on learning how to start my very own non-profit organization. Throughout the learning process, I have began drafting a few of the important documents that are crucial to the success of a non-profit. Because these documents are really important to me, and those who will be working with me, I decided these documents shouldn't and won't be printed on just any kind of paper. In general, I use a 28lb. color copy paper from Xerox, and it's fantastic for printing general documents, articles, photos, etc. However, when it comes to my business documents, I want a type of paper that truly stands out, one that makes a first-class impression, and that's where Southworth comes in. Everywhere I look, this particular paper is sold for well over $30, but given how special it is, I can understand the price. With that said, when I found out Amazon carried this for just around $25, there was no reason not to jump on the opportunity to buy this, because this is the cheapest you will find this high quality paper, anywhere! As of yesterday, my order arrived, and when I opened up this paper for the first time, let me tell you, I was in shock at the insane quality and feel of this paper. 32lb, 100% Cotton Business paper sitting in the palm of my hands........there's nothing like it!! I noticed the watermark, as it varies in position on every sheet, but I didn't care, because the feel and look of the paper means so much more. When people see my business documents printed on this paper, I know they will be impressed. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made, and I plan on buying a lot more of this Southworth paper very soon. Thanks Amazon!

Wish I had bought 24 lb or that they offered 28 lb
Overall, the paper is very nice. However, I, myself, purchased it for use with an antique Blickensderfer #5 typewriter, because I wanted something a bit thicker than laser printer paper. The decision came down to 24 lb vs 32 lb and I opted for the 32 lb thinking that it would be thicker and might absorb the impact from the type head better. The box of paper arrived inside a typical amazon packing job (i.e. inside a cardboard box that was slightly larger and with some air packing thrown in, but not really enough to cushion much). Luckily, nothing was damaged. Upon opening the paper and taking a sheet out, I was struck that the paper darn near felt like card stock. Maybe 60% of how thick you'd imagine card stock to be. It's not a thick and heavy as a business card, but it's almost the next best thing. It definitely has a heavy feel to it. For me, since I had envisioned using it to write letters on my typewriter with, I was a bit disappointed that it was slightly too thick for what you'd probably want as far as sending informal letters back and forth. It's definitely too much of a cardboard feel to it; not enough of a piece of paper feel. I'm probably going to just mark it up to bad luck in my selection and either search out 28 lb or go with their similar 100% cotton 24 lb. As far as the whole "I don't like the water mark in the center of the paper", it's really not that noticeable. The only time you can see it (at least on the 32 lb paper) is if you hold it up to the light. Sometimes it's in the center, sometimes in other areas. It's actually less noticeable than the water marked Bond paper I used to use back in the mid 70's. Perhaps the comments by users are relating to a lighter weight paper, where the water market is more noticeable. Either way, who doesn't love water marked paper? Again, not very noticeable. Mainly my complaint is with regard to the thickness of the paper. It's a little over the top for anything I can think of. I wouldn't personally use it on even a resume. The only thing I'll be using this paper for is storying boarding websites or something, where I want each individual sheet to stand of its own accord or something. As far as using it to send letters to friends or business associates, I would never use it in a business setting myself. It comes across a almost comically too heavy for letter writing. As the former CEO of several companies, I think if anyone did present their resume to me on this, I'd probably wonder if they were trying to draw my attention away from what was actually written through the use of the overly heavy paper. To each their own, but unless you are looking for something which has darn near a cardstock feeling to it, I would suggest going with 24 lb paper myself. This stuff would be fantastic for paper airplanes, however.

Tough
I got this paper for printing logging forms, because it's often snowing or raining when I need them, and I wanted something that wouldn't dissolve at the first sign of moisture. It also stands up quite well to an eraser, when necessary. It's bright but not reflective; heavy but not stiff; prints very well with my inkjet printer. Would have been five stars, but only bots give five stars.

DESCRIPCIÒN NO CORRESPONDE.

This quality paper was the perfect solution for providing an attractive mounting for my stamp collection. Printing colour images was no problem. Well worth the extra couple bucks.
