Favorite piece of gear for running and biking
I recently got into endurance sports like running ultra and doing long gravel rides. So I was looking for a rain jackets with following expectations:- - Waterproof, wind proof with breath ability. - Some thing with detectable arms and can we use as vest to assist layer up - Light weight and have pocket of some sort at the back - Should not slip up while running I am 5'6 142 pounds and I ordered small. Its a snug fit but I don't complain, people can size up if they want room. For me I generally have a t-shirt/base layer inside at most so this fits perfectly. I tested the fabric in my wash basin to check waterproof ability before taking it out and it works well. I have now successfully tested in couple of runs with one long run at 25F chill with light snow and it worked fine. Biking might be different. I have successfully biked in around 35F with long sleeve T-shirt with not problem. Sleeves are not tight so can flap a bit.For the breath ability this one has flaps on the back so that keeps the rain out but air flow good and also does not condense. It is lightweight so I stuff this in my pack for most of my activities. I haven't tried testing out as vest yet. Would update once I do. I haven't used the front zippers but find the back one more usable for stuffing my buff or gloves. One other good part is it does not slip on me while running has like an elastic band inside with runs on the brim with rubber material inside to give anti slip functionality. It does look a little funny for running since front is short like most of the biking jackets but I really like it for what it does. Will update when I find out more about it worth sharing. **If you find my review useful then please click the 'Yes' in helpful. Keeps me motivated to share more experiences with the community**

Details on the fit size small
Strange fit but works. Originally sticker retail is $130 but getting it on amazon for $36 no complaints. The Fit in sized Small: its a nice "elite" cyclist type tight fit which I do like. I am 5'3 145 lbs. THE WAIST: size fits like a size 29 pants, the problem is it only allows for even smaller waist size with pull strings in waist which from a design perspective it should do the opposite to put in more layers during colder weather. Torso length is short which works for me.THE ARM SLEEVES: this is where they missed the mark. Extremely long sleeves and very very baggie fit which makes no sense from an aero dynamic perspective.THE COLORWAY: simply love it, no more ridding stealth black for me. Very very visible for cars. WINDPROOF: rode it once so far and it was a warm day. I rode without the clumsy baggie sleeves and did love the fact it has a cool air vent in the back behind shoulders which you can't see in stock photos. FRONT ZIPPERS: usuless for elite fast rides. If you put anything in front zipper it bangs onto your stomach, wish back zipper storage was bigger but it fits the waist like a glove this jacket, so can't put much in back pocket. BACK torso length: not to long as th arms are for me, covers down to your buttocks. Jacket is much longer on the back. OVERALL: I think it's great for its visibility and as a vest. I will wear it often specially on solo rides. Safe ridding.

Well designed but a few minuses
Mindful of the reviews here, I got a L and an XL to see which would work better for me. I'm 5'11", 176lbs, normally wear an L, in some things an M. Went back and forth between the XL and the L until I got the bright idea of trying them on with the bib tops + jersey I normally wear for riding. Without the bulk of my usual blue jeans+belt, the L is definitely a much better fit, the XL is too floppy on me. Apparently these jackets are designed to be snug around the waist, which is elasticized and a rubberized strip on the inside to keep it from riding up. The jacket is nicely designed and well constructed. The material is light so that it easily balls up to fit into a back pocket of a jersey if like me you warm up while riding. Note that there is just one back pocket, and it's zippered. The other two pockets are on the front and are zippered. Note also that the entire yoke and both sleeves come off as one piece. It is attached via two zippers and some velcro tabs. Impossible to remove without taking off the jacket. In the (unlikely) event that you want to put the sleeve yoke back on after removing it during a ride, the process is a bit tricky because the zippers are tiny (for lightness) and fussy to get started.

Great Jacket!
Very nice jacket - lightweight and soft. Tail and sleeves are plenty long enough to cover you in a stretched-out cycling position. Seams and plackets are reinforced, zippers are high quality. I'm 6 feet tall, 160lbs, normally fit size medium, so I ordered a size large after reading other comments. Turned out to be a mistake. The large looked OK standing in front of a mirror, but was baggy and drooped down when I got on the bike. Returned it and got the medium, fits perfectly. I'm thin but not racer-thin or anything. I think if you're looking for a road-riding type jacket to go over a couple layers of spandex, order your normal size, but if you want something bigger to go over a puffy fleece, you could order a size up. I use it mostly as a vest to keep warm, and zip the arms on when it's raining. Fabric is breathable, but water resistant enough to keep you dry in drizzle or light rain. It's not waterproof though, so heavy rain gets through. It has kept me dry enough on rainy commutes, and I'm not drenched with sweat like with completely waterproof fabrics. My only complaint is the back pocket is too big - if you put a pump or some food or your gloves in there, it won't stay put in the middle of your back, it will slide down to your sides and tug the whole jacket to one side. Overall the jacket is beautifully designed, so this one small complaint really stands out to me.

Leichter Windstopper, leichte Regenjacke

Great slim fitting high vis jacket
This was a replacement for an old LG jacket and I love it. Slim fitting especially around the waist and arms. I am 5'11 165ish and size medium is perfect. The arms actually detach as one piece which is an added bonus. You can partially zip down the arms while riding to get some ventilation in the pits. Front pockets are good, even for a phone since the jacket is so snug it doesn't flop around in front. My only complaint is the shoulders sometime flap in the wind. Not sure if that is a sizing issue or design issue.

So far, completely satisfied
Quite happy with it over the past 3+ weeks. Arrived ahead of promised date. Really like the high visibility yellow, wind flap on the zipper, and front pockets. I’ve not had the occasion yet to use the vest only. Fits as advertised, though I would have appreciated a little extra room to cinch the draw cord; I wear L and XL would have been too large.
