Works Well but Does Come out Easily

This works well overall. It holds the rod in while kayaking and I do like that you can "close" a cover over the handle. The only complaint is that it easily falls out. It shouldn't if a fish takes off with your line because of the angle but it does fall out while moving the kayak around. I thought I had lost it for a while because it fell out when I didn't realize it.

Good holder

This fits one of my poles very well but the other pole the real is in the way, the other pole is slightly shorter , the lock works great and very easy to remove my pole while in the kayak, also adjustable side to side if float fishing on one side of the kayak i do like the location of mine i use it all the time

Nice little mount for the price

This product works well. It is easily adjustable. Simple install. I only had to drill one large hole and a few small holes for the screws. This mount is a great, inexpensive addition to any boat.

Decent for the money

Does not float

Loved this product for all of the 5 minutes it stayed on my kayak!! Rod holder separated from base when I hooked a fish, which sent it flying into the water. Little did I know, these dont float!! As I watched in dismay as my rod holder sank into the dark blue, said fish popped my line and swam off with my spinner... All things considered, not a bad product.

Paid for Pelican, Received cheap knockoff

UPDATE: Zero response from seller. So if you'd like this product I'd recommend someone (anyone) else simply because you can be sure that they won't address your concern. As you can clearly see in the picture, one of the rod holders I received was a branded Pelican rod holder, while the other is a cheap knockoff. Happy to remove this review if the seller corrects.

Super rack à canne!

Pour la pêche avec un kayak « nunu » de clearwater design… L’ajustement de l’angle en hauteur pour la canne est presque inexistant puisque mon kayak est plutôt arrondi sur le dessus et le manche de canne trop long. Trou à percer dans le kayak. Robuste et facile à utiliser.
