A good investment for the tool box.
Seem to be nicely built. Fit snugly into screw heads without being difficult to take off again like some torx can be. Lifetime warranty. The vast majority of my tools have "Lifetime Warranty". I have no reason to think I'll need to use that warranty. The only time I've tried to make good on that was with a Husky socket wrench. Husky would not honor the warranty. They seem to interpret putting a socket on their socket wrench and turning stuff with it as "misuse and abuse". Thanks Husky. Your tools all went into my metal salvage pile. Anyway, getting back to the point. As I said, I have no reason to think these sockets will fail. Each one has a good length of star pattern on it. If I ever strip one, I can simply grind the end a bit to restore it. Could probably do that three or four times before they become too short. Realistically speaking, if I ever have to do that it means I haven't been using these properly. Now for some bad. Minor stuff but it's there. The tip of the T-47 wasn't quite finished being polished and and the angle ground into the star's points. This doesn't make it unusable by any means but it is unprofessional. Minus a star although I almost didn't. Another thing that bugged me was that it's not all that obvious how to get them off of the holder. You have to cut these two little tabs off each one and then twist to unlock the socket from the holder. It can be fairly difficult to twist some of them and even more so if I'm under my truck. Seriously considering getting another holder. Those two things together are what made me decide to go with four instead of five stars. Even so, that decision was reluctant.

Complete set of larger sizes; and very tough.
Great full set of sizes. Check carefully, a lot of other sets are missing at least one of the sizes between T40 and T60. Unlike what you often read about other star bit sets, these are tough. I first used one to remove some ancient brake calipers from an auto undergoing restoration, and this really took some cranking. Furthermore, the new calipers came with female hex heads vs. Torx/star. Unable to find the right hex bits for my socket wrench, I decided to try to use the best-fitting star bit, not really expecting the bit to hold up. In short, I was able to tighten down all the hex caliper bolts to specified torque, with no apparent harm to the star bit. I was also able to break an ancient Torx/star bolt securing a seat belt without any trouble. (Old seat belt bolts are notorious for breaking star bits.) So my only minor annoyance with these sockets was the plastic carrier. On examination, it appears that the carrier is designed so that you have to turn the bits to unlock them from the carrier, before removing them. However, it took more finger strength than I could muster to turn the smaller bits. I finally just used some wrenches to turn all the bits a quarter turn, so I can take them off easily. I guess this beats the situation with some socket sets I've seen, where the sockets are always falling off the carrier. Anyhow, what matters is the size selection (complete) and the durability (excellent)!

Nice quailty set for a competive price
Nice quality set at competitive price. Needed one for a specific use, but didn't know the size and wanted a set anyways. If you only need a couple sizes that you know, then go to Home Depot and by their quality brand at $1.65 ea. The only negative is the plastic holder is a twist lock design that is very, very difficult to get them off. Had to use pillars to twist them to get them off and then on again. May they loosen up with more use. They sure won't be falling off.

Worh a look
So far so good. I have not broken any yet. More than I can say for the other brand sets I have. A bit pricey but not too bad.

Great Torx Set
I purchased this torx set for use with my Jeep. It is exactly what I thought it would be, with one minor con (which I guess you could see as a pro.) The bits are kind of difficult to remove from the holder. I had to actually take pliers to a couple of them to get them off. If you purchase this, I'd suggest either keeping them loose in your tool box, or purchasing a bit holder.

I must have set of sockets
I have had allen wrenches for years and it was always a pain to use them. It took a lot of time to place the wrench, give it a slight turn and then reposition it all over again. With these sockets, I can use my ratchet wrench, place the hex head in the bolt and just back and forth until the bolt is tight. These sockets fit my ratcheting handles and made the job faster and much easier. Truly, a must have set of sockets.

The bits seem to be very well constructed and o good quality. Pretty much has all the sizes I need for my Harley. The only problem as others have mentioned is the carrying case, that seems cheap and very hard to get them out the first time.. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

This is a very good set of Hex bits!
This is quality set of hex bits! I was looking for a 9mm hex bit to finish a brake job and this set was a big help. Most hex sets don't include a 9mm bit, but this one does and it works well! I recommend this set.

Solid Quality, Very Durable, Nice tool Holder too.
The heads are not as solid as one might think. The sockets are very good quality. If you are using them on a nut that is even slightly bigger, and its not a tight fit, you are risking stripping the tool! Ive ordered 2 of those and had to use the 5mm socket to take off a couple bolts that had locktite on it, and BOTH stripped. However, if you are using them for exact fit on the bolts you will have no issue. I use this tool set to work on my motorcycles which has specific factory MM and torque specs and so far no issues. A heads up to all users about mismatched socket and head sizes.
