I’m in love with a litter mat

If I could give this a million stars I would. Well worth the price. My cat throws up a lot and normally she’ll do it next to her litter box. I was previously using those “waterproof” mats that have the weird plastic carpet-y texture and the throw up would get all stuck in it. This mat is so easy to clean. Seriously, like a swipe and it’s up and done. This is the one, look no further, I promise

World's Perfect Mat to Use with Cat Litter Boxes. Super sturdy and simple design. Looks great. Easy to clean. Looked at a lot of mats for my cat litter boxes...this is our favorite. Not sure anyone could design a better mat. Helps cats shake off litter before walking away. Works very well. Highly recommend for containing cat litter.

Great cat litter box!

This mat is well made, well designed, water/urine proof, and easy to clean. The material is heavy but flexible, so it's easy to pour the litter off of it. I love it, and would highly recommend this product.

The best litter mat we’ve ever had!

We’ve tried a lot of litter mats for our two cats, most of them bought from Amazon. I can confidently say this one is the best. It’s easy to clean, waterproof, and I guess feels smooth enough on the cats’ paws that they don’t try to jump out of the litter box to avoid walking on the mat (which they used to do with all other litter mats). Highly recommend!

The open mat collect litters and because of how it is made, a vacuum can easily collect it afterwards. So pretty good ????

Good strong cat litter mat

I think this is as good as I could hope for in a cat litter mat. Does it catch all the cat litter ? No. But there isn't a mat that does. This one catches loads of litter on the mat to tip back into litter tray. So it is catching a good percentage of the litter. I have tried the other webbing type ones and my corn grain litter gets caught up in the mat and causes more mess than not using one, which makes it useless. But this rubber mat really does catch a lot of litter and the mat is easy to pick up and pour the litter back into tray, so very little litter gets wasted. It has deep grooves enough to catch the litter, but not so deep as to stop my cat walking on it to enter or exit his tray. It feels similar to a car rubber foot well mat. It is definitely better than any other I have tried, and so easy to use. No mat can promise to catch all your litter, if you are looking for the impossible, this mat isn't for you. But if your expectations are realistic then this works as good or better than any mat you will find on the market. It has a thoughtful design. I am glad that I bought it.

I bought this cat litter mat after reading reviews on Amazon for lots of them. I use wood pellet litter for my two cats and now we are in a house with wooden floors I had noticed how much was being tracked from the litter box across the floor onto furniture using the previous litter mat I had. Obviously in rooms where there is carpet a lot of the litter was coming off their paws into the carpet. It's a really big mat and I have the litter partly sitting on it and it captures both whole wood pellets plus the "sand" that the pellets turn into once a bit wet I would say 95% of the time. It is SO easy to clean too! You can either just use a dust pan and brush to collect litter that has been captured or run the vacuum cleaner over it and it's all sucked up in a jiffy! Easy to wipe clean with a wet cloth also. Some mats I have used despite being vacuumed still retained lots of litter dust deep down. This is by far the best litter mat I have used yet and my two Burmese boy cats had no issue walking on it or using it at all. Well worth the money. I have decided to try a crystal type litter, nothing to do with the litter mat itself but because I no longer can cope with the smell of wet wood pellets and the sand it turns into. If you are looking for a mat for the litter tray don't bother with anything else (I have tried nearly all of them over the years) and get one of these. If you want to cover a bigger area you can always get more than one mat as they would just sit nicely next to each other. It would have been nice if it came in a range of colours, but aside from that it's perfect for this cat lover!

Works well - recommended

My cats dig their litter very enthusiastically! So in spite of having a deep-sided litter tray (which helped considerably with the scattering), there was still more daily light grey specks on the dark carpet than I would have liked. Enter this litter tray mat. I was a little anxious that the cats might not take to the feel of its rubbery surface when accessing the tray. I played safe by laying it near the tray for a couple of days while they got used to it, then put it in position under the tray. No problem: my fears were unfounded and they readily accepted the new addition. Now only two or three (literally) grains of litter escape on a daily basis and are easily picked up by hand. What has been caught by the mat is easily dealt with: just lift the front and shake it gently down to rest against the bottom of the tray and every week lift the tray off, funnel the mat and tip the clean litter back into the tray. A bit pricey for what it is in my opinion, but it certainly does the job.

Good product

Good large size and neutral colour. No litter mat catches every bit of litter, so this is as good as it gets. I previously had one of the double layered mats, but some of the litter went through the holes as it was supposed to, but a lot just stuck in the holes. That meant two lots of hoovering - top and bottom layers. This mat is much quicker and easier only being a single layer. Also my cats tended to be sick occasionally on the previous mat which was then horrible to clean because the solid vomit stuck in the holes and the liquid ran through underneath. Life's so much simpler now!!

It works exactly as required

Previously: Litter bits everywhere. Now: Litter bits now on the mat. Now, I'm lazy and frankly I don't even clean the mat as often as I should but it does an excellent job of keeping the debris to a smaller area Bonus: Immediately after I got it for the first time ever one of my cats decided to pee with her butt sticking out of the litter box door. This doozy bought me enough time as it slowly brimmed with cat pee to grab a wad of kitchen roll. It's rubber. It's a mat with a lip. It's a bib for your floor.
