Seemed great; clip on the strap not functional

Short story - Giving it 1 star because although it seemed great when I tried it on at home, the clips on the side were faulty, leading to the mask being non-functional. Plus, the graphics on the side rubbed away after only three 45 min snorkeling sessions. Full story - I tried the mask on at home, and it seemed like it suctioned pretty well to my face, so I moved forward with taking it on my trip. I carried it in the plastic bag and plastic carrier box that came with it. I don't think I focused on tightening the mask around my head before leaving, as I was more concerned with fit on my face. On the very first day of the snorkeling, I was a bit confused that the mask straps wouldn't stay tight around my head. On each side of the mask, there is a clip to loosen and tighten the strap. One side worked fine, the other wouldn't hold the strap in place. I asked for help from the snorkeling guides, and they couldn't figure out why it wouldn't stay tight either. They ended up tying a knot for me so that I could still go out. After 2 more snorkeling outings, the "Rapido" on the side of the mask has all but deteriorated. Of course the printing itself doesn't impact functionality, but it feels like a sign of the quality of the mask being substandard. [Unfortunately by the time I returned from my trip, the return/replace window was closed]
