Best Head on the Market
Solid brass construction is no fail. Focused spray, water saving but no loss in pressure.

Better than most
I am replacing my existing shower head that is a different brand but looks exactly the same as the delta. The only problem is that the delta shuts off the water completely and when I turn it on again, it is cold. My older shower head would drip just enough to eliminate this.

If you like a needle spray, this is your shower head
I got this to replace a shower heard that finally gave up the ghost on us. I loved the old head. The stream was just right and could be adjusted with a turnkey knob on the side. But, I’m having a lot of trouble finding it again, so went with this instead as I just didn’t want to pay a lot for another shower head at this time. At some point, we may retile our old shower and, when we do, we’ll put in a rain head like we have in our other bathroom. But, for now, basic is the mantra. This is about as basic as you can get. Simply screw it on the supply pipe - no need for plumber’s tape, thread, or stick stuff - although you could use it if you wished. It’s solid which was very important. I didn’t want a shower head with lots of plastic components that would lose their finish and wear out quickly. The loop on the side toggles on and off. You can also adjust the strength of the stream by flipping the loop partway, but we typically have it off or on. When it is off, it does dribble a little. This is intentional. Shower heads are not built to completely restrain the pressure of water coming through and can be damaged if left in the off position too long. If you want your water completely off while shampooing or soaping down - as you might if living in a drought area - then turn the water off at the handle(s). The little bit of drip isn’t that bad, to be honest, and it does the job. Now, for the stream itself. Holy cow! It’s like needles! This is not my favorite, but my husband loves it. When we travel, weak flow from the shower head is his biggest gripe. Our shower is a stall shower and the head is mounted very high on one wall. It’s perfect for my 6’3” husband. I’m 5’4” and the water slams me straight in the face which is why I would have preferred a gentler stream. That’s really the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. So, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced shower head that is about as basic as can be, this shower head is probably want you want. If you want lots of whistles and bangs, adjustability, and a gentle spray, this is not the shower head you’re looking for.

Excellent if you don't need hot water running low and slow
The style and quality and price of this head is excellent. The flip valve is smooth and even in its adjustment of flow. The spray pattern is wide and the pressure for rinsing is excellent. You get a substantial amount of power even with low flow. The one complaint I have is simply when using it during a cold winter; if I used this head only in warm weather I would be totally happy. However in cold weather, if you want to take long hot showers with low water usage (the reason I wanted a low-flow fixture), the water droplets atomize and spread outward so well that the water temperature drops significantly even in the short distance out of the nozzle. I have to turn the shower's water mixture valve to the hottest setting and adjust the shower head flow a bit higher than I need, just to keep the water temperature as hot as I like. If I were to raise the hot water heater tank temperature, that would help, but would use more energy than necessary. Now that the winter has passed, this is a 5-star shower head all day long, but when winter comes I likely will be in the market for the Delta equivalent shower head that has more of a cylindrical nozzle rather than the conical nozzle that this one does. If you don't have cold winters, or don't need your water quite hot, this head is superb.

Great for resticted water
We live in the hills of southern Oregon, where water is notoriously a problem. Wells dry up, and I have a few neighbors who truck in water on a regular basis. I just added 10k gallons of water storage, as we resorted to pulling water from our pool last year due to low well flow, but we had already lost 5k of water because of a broken fitting. And now the city is restricting water usage to for non-commercial use only, as there's a lack of available chlorine due to the pandemic, and they can't sanitize enough water effectively. We'll see if this becomes more restrictive. I've had one of these for a few years now, and it has always been my favorite shower head. We have another water saving shower head as well (Niagara N2615 Tri-Max), but I'm about to buy another Delta to replace that as the Niagara puts out a lot more water than I'd like, and the lowest setting feels like someone's spitting water at you, which isn't at all pleasant. I've found that this Delta shower head also helps if you have any issues with sores on your head. I have an autoimmune disease where this is common, and this shower head is the 'only' one I can use that won't make my head hurt even more. If you have a need to conserve water (we all should to a certain extent), and want a good shower experience, this is it. I can easily take a pleasant half-hour shower and only fill the tub a quarter of the way, if I dial it down a bit. If you have the means to install this in a camper or RV, I highly recommend it, as your shower time would be extended, as long as your pressure is high enough. The only downside to the small water droplets is that the water will rapidly lose heat in comparison to larger droplets, but this is a negligible tradeoff IMHO. You'll definitely make a steamy bathroom, which may actually be desirable for some. This shower head may look simple, but is worth every penny. You won't find a better shower experience while conserving water.
