Great idea, but trash

I got the initial kit, followed the directions. Left for the weekend, came home and boom black algae. It’s much cheaper and less work for me to just add the algaecide and keep my chlorinate set higher. Great idea though, wish it worked as advertised…..

Does not work for very long. --One month, I've already had to use 2 !

I bought the right size and the chlorine was adjusted properly.....but since june1 --I've already had to use 2 of them. .. At more than 30 bucks each--not really a good deal
