Good strength

Good strength so far to hold what I am using them for. I wish they came with a rubber tip but I got sone rubber stoppers and just drilled them out to fit over the head of the bolts. Seem to work fine. For twice the money I coukd get one with the rubber tip.

Good enough

These are good and they work well enough, but the fit between the plunger and the sleeve is looser than on the same type of clamps I bought from Xpaowa: https://www.amazon.com/XRPAOWA-Toggle-Release-Holding-Capacity/dp/B07214XRR1 The smoothness also wasn't quite as good. There seemed to be less lubrication, and it was more sticky. As a result the plunger is a little more wobbley, and needs a little more force when extending and retracting. It still works, it just doesn't feel as nice. I figured it was all the same part made in the same factory, but I guess there are subtle differences. Another thing to note is that these have a 5/16-18 thread, rather than the 8mm thread on the Xrpaoa model. That all said it still worked for my application, and it still holds well enough.

Worked great for supporting end of gate!

Not the typical use for this clamp. Needed a way to support the end of a large gate. This clamp worked perfectly! Plenty of clamping strength to lift and support the gate. Easy to adjust. May need to paint, since it's outside.

Work as expected

Easy to mount, and they work well, but the size is smaller than the website leads you to expect. Would get a slightly larger size for preference.

Needed a lever to use for a stamp I made for my wife's soap business. I was able to design and attach the stamp to the end of this toggle clamp and it all works perfectly for her. While not the intended application for this product it's much easier on her hands to push the lever instead of using brute force to push down on the stamp.

One of the two toggle clamps was defective

I received the toggle clamps yesterday and after unpackaging them, one worked fine, but the second one was defective. It doesn't work in the vertical position, which is the way I need to use it. The handle is too loose and won't stay clamped because gravity pulls it down. The clamp that works, the handle has a detente in the clamped position so it won't release in the vertical position. I would have preferred to contact the seller directly rather than leaving a bad review as I would still be interested in the product if the seller replaces them for two good ones. But unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere a link where I can contact the seller, so I decided to put a review instead. I will be returning the product and asking for a replacement.
